I cramped around the time of my HPT+. For a few days anyway. Eventually it subsided. I hope this is the case for you too!

I wouldn't mess around with it though. Try to get in to see your doc so you can put your mind at ease.

Good luck honey and vent here all you need!

Julie, I think its pretty normal to have cramping the first trimester. Its the uterus stretching to make room for that little miracle. I cramped pretty bad with my son.

Drink some water and put your feet up :)

Yep, I had a lot of cramps in the beginning, felt like AF was about to show up.

Just to echo what all the pp said... I had cramping for weeks during the 1T with both my DS and this pg, just as bad as AF. And I, too, checked the tp every time anyway. I don't think cramping alone is cause for worry (not that you won't worry anyway, but we're here for you when you do!).

That's very normal for me, if fact, it's one of my earliest symptoms and they're usually worse than when I do get AF.

HTH!

Julie,

I cramped with both Charlie and this pg, actually it's a good sign things are progressing, the little bean is trying to make a nice comfy bed in your uterine wall, it can cause cramping and light spotting (I spotted with this pg from 7th to 9th week,

When I was pg w/Charlotte (& didn't know it!), I had menstrual type cramps for about 2 weeks.
