Update on me: I have been diagnosed with a blood disorder called hyperhomocyateinemia. It causes blood clots, heart diease and stroke, fun huh! Anyway I have another appointment with the Peri tomorrow am and with the Hematologist on June 6th. It seems that this condition can be controlled with vitamins and blood thinners, so hopefully all will be ok. I am just concerned because I lost my baby at 15 weeks and here I am at 13 weeks and truthfully scared to death. One good thing is the babies are so active and I have been feeling them more and more so that gives me some hope that I will get through the next 2 weeks. P.S. Thanks Jen for the information!!
Tara: I have had bleeding gums and they are also very sore and sensitive after I brush them. I know what you mean about it making you gag!!
Carolyn: Good luck on your appointment today!!
Jenn: I am happy to see you back, it is wonderful!!
They are not saying that is the definate reason, but when we had the loss the doctor felt it was a blood clot in the umbilical cord. So I guess it is safe to assume it had something to do with it. As scary as it is for me I am glad they found it and it can be controlled, I just want it controlled before it does anyother damage. Hopefully the Peri will start doing something tomorrow and the Hematologist will follow up. I am sure they won't let me go without getting some type of treatment. I will give you girls an update tomorrow after the Peri appointment. Thanks for being there for me!
