Well I just got back from my ultra sound and I was a little worried when I left, but then I talked to my good friend Wendi and she had think about the fact that everything is showing that this is going to be ok.

My ultra sound showed a gestational sac of 5W2D, and the doctor said that is fine because this early it is really hard to get a good measurement. He did think that there was an yolk sac started. So please just keep me and my little bean in your prayers, because I am

Yay!!! I've been checking for this update.
I knew it would be fine! And please don't worry about the slight measurement discrepency - that's SO normal. No worries there.
I'm so happy for you!

Jenn, I got on the board specifically to check for your update...glad to hear that everythings good (and it is, sweetie). I think it's totally normal, from what I've heard, for the date to be off by a couple days and that it doesn't mean anything if it's a little bit different from what you think it should be.

I can't believe you are calm enough to wait two whole weeks to get another appt, girl! I can't wait to hear an even happier update after that one!

I'm sure everything is fine Jenn.

I'm so proud of you for waiting until the 19th for your appt. I think it shows a willingness to just roll with the punches. And really, that's all we can do. Waiting 2 weeks or 1 week, it won't matter. Your bean will be fine at both points plus the u/s pics at the later appt will be more interesting anyway =)

Cheers,

Peggy

Jenn,

I got on board to check for your update, I'm so glad it went well, 5W2D is only 3 days off from what I see on your ticker, that's very normal at such an early stage, the most assuring thing is that your dr. says the yolk sac has started, as you know it, that you and your little bean will be in our prayers every day! You chose to go in in 2 weeks is very wise, my OB as caring as he is, he won't give a U/S till 7wks for the possible cause of non-necessary worries to his patient, for there is not much to see prior to that.

I'm glad you are liking your dr., that's very important to get thru the next 8~9 months, knowing that you are in good hands!

Anyway, I'm so happy you had a good appt. today!

Take care, hugs!

Carol
