Sandi, congrats on the milestone! Sometimes it's best to take this whole pg one at a time...otherwise we'd probably go nuts ;)
Tara, I also just got my maternity clothes back from a friend. That is the best way to do it.....each of my girlfriends just adds a few items to the basket when it is her turn. Kind of fun to see what will be in there this time!
Jenn, I am so with you about wanting to feel ill or light-headed or JUST ANYTHING! I don't feel pg at all.....never have with any of my pregnancies. I have my first ultrasound today, and to tell you the truth, I'm worried. All of my three m/c have been "missed" so I'm not a tp checker.......just terrified of the doctor's office.
Tara/Shannon - congrats on making it to the 2T, but I'm so glad you're sticking around here for a while.
Carolyn - I'm already doing the elastic through the buttonhole thing, and I'm not even 9w yet! I have to unbutton my pants on the drive home from work, and change into PJ bottoms the second I walk in the door.
Jenn/Julie - I'm with you with wanting to feel more symptoms. The more, the better! We just have to remember to be positive and know that our beans are growing, growing, growing!
Sandi - so excited you got past your milestone! That is such great news. I still have a ways to go for that (angel stopped developing at 11w, found out at 13-1/2w), but I'm looking forward to it. Must be so nice to have it behind you and focus on the future!
Jen-ay - cracking up about your DH buttering your cornbread wrong, LOL!
Tara Suzanne - welcome to the club!
As for me, not too much new to report. Attended two baby showers this weekend, during prime napping time. Now I'm super tired at work today! I'm really looking forward to my h/b appt on Weds., and my doppler arrives today! I'm doing my best to remind myself that if I can't find the h/b tonight, it's just that I can't find it on my own yet, not that there's no h/b! I heard the h/b with my angel one time, and I'll never forget that sound, but
Hey everybody! In the preggo department I'm doing just fine. I have my first OB appt tomorrow. I'm really excited about that. I'm sure it will go well.
Not so good news on the kitty front. My cat, Kaylee, has been throwing up way more than normal for a cat. We are taking her to the emergency vet. Luckily they are close to us.
Kaylee has been on ear drops for an ear yeast infection (weird huh?). Anyway, either she is sick with something else now or the drops made her sick or the shots she just had at her last appt is making her sick. All I know is throwing up so much in one day is not good. And just have come off m/s myself I know it feels terrible. So I hope she is okay. We'll see what the vet says.
Peggy, I'm sorry about your poor kitty! My dog has nasty ear infections all the time (gotta love those floppy ears), but luckily we are usually able to just use a topical solution. I hope they figure out what's wrong and can make her feel better soon! Good luck.
I have figured out how to trick the system into letting me post, but it takes about 5 minutes for each post!
Peggy: I am so sorry to hear about your kitty, I know that my little Barley is like my child. It makes me so very sad when he is not feeling well.
Carolyn: I am so happy to hear that you are styling in the maternity clothes!
Sandra: I am excited for you to get your Doppler for home use! I can not wait to order mine!
As for me! I am not on Antibiotics because of an infection in my big toe! So this morning on my way to work I started feeling a little icky at my stomach! I almost had to pull over!! WOO HOOO! I was visually playing this scene in my head!
Jenn starts throwing up on the side of the road and then cop stops! He asks me what is wrong and I started jumping up and down and all excited about having morning sickness!! I am pretty sure he would have arrested me and sent me to the crazy house! (LOL) I am not to sure if it was the antibiotics or what, but I am going to go with antibiotics and me not taking to them as well as I used to!
I hope that everyone has a great day and I fail to post to you, please know that I am thinking about you but my computer will not let me post!
