Hi Ladies I am still feeling crummy. I have only thrown-up occasionally but I still have awful trouble cleaning my teeth and going to the toilet also does it for me Jen. I am a major gagger in the afternoon and its tiring having trouble eating still. With my son, I was sick through to about 30 weeks so I really hope this is not a repeat performance!
Meanwhile, I have also stopped progesterone (this is the 2nd day after) and am hoping for an uneventful transition. I was only on 100mg once daily so it wasn't a high dose. I think I would have weaned myself off a bit more gradually if it was.
Its rainy weather here today and my son is going stir crazy already. I think we need to head to the zoo with our umbrellas or to SOMEWHERE that he can play without me moving too much.
Oh, is anyone exercising? I haven't done anything other than a walk or two these past months but my naturopath says I need to get into exercise and recommended swimming. I am going to try and do a few laps a few times a week but its not easy with summer vacation and no preschool! I need to figure out some babysitting or camp days for him.
I am so glad Jenn is feeling sick. Antibiotics or not.. your stomach is acting up!!! YAY!
Carolyn: Congrats on finding the preggo clothes. Yay! Now you don't have to scream at DH when he gets home. good for you. Looks like you were able to conquer that giant pile of bins afterall.
Sandra: I thought the higher heart rates were for girls but I don't know. I don't know about a first look test either. Could it be the same as a nuchal test? Yep, I just read Carolyn's response. Looks like first-look does equal the NT.
Jenn: Antibiotics make me feel sickly too. It could be those but honey that morning sickness is likely on its way. I know barfing would make you happy but I so don't wish you to feel bad. My m/s was nearly unbearable.
Jen: I just puke in the morning for the most part unless I scarf my food or forget to eat. Then I can get woosie at other times.
Shannon and Tara: Looks like we are all "off the sauce" in the prog department. I'm off the prog as of last night. I hated taking those pills. I can't imagine dealing with the suppositories. I hope-hope-hope I we don't get spotting as a result of not using prog anymore.
All: Kaylee, my kitty-cat, is still lethargic but it appears as if she is no longer throwing up. That's good news but I don't think she has really eaten anything today either. We are going to monitor her for one more day. If she is still this lethargic tomorrow we are going to take her in for xrays and some bloodwork. Normally I would think that a cat or dog acting like this would have eaten something that he/she shouldn't have. But this cat won't eat anthing except her Iams food. She hates most anything else. So we wait one more day. I'm hopeful she will feel better once she starts eating again.
Peggy - again, I am so excited your appt went so well! Also, I hope Kaylee continues to improve. Please keep us posted.
Shannon - hope Frost is having fun now that the sun is out (I am in Seattle, too). I'm not exercising yet, since I freaked out when I spotted after overdoing it with housework. Once I see that everything is okay with the 12w u/s, then I plan to start walking regularly, either outside or on my treadmill.
Jen-ay/Tara/Peggy - congrats on going off the progesterone! Fingers crossed for no spotting.
Jen-ay - I sure hope the m/s eases up on you soon. I'm sure it will any day!
Jenn - on the other hand, I'm glad you're feeling so sick! I'm the same way!
Sandy - I'm doing pretty well! I'm hearing the h/b this Thursday, so I'll be glad to get over that hurdle.
Carolyn - so glad you found the mat clothes!
All - thanks for the help with the Doppler this morning. I'm going to keep trying, and definitely pay attention to what the doc does on Thurs. It will be so nice when I hear it for sure!
Bex is back... back again.... Bex is back... tell a friend... (sorry, had to do a little Eminem for you all).
Bex, so glad to see you in full effect!!! Can't wait to see new belly pics, too. Thanks so much for the tips on the doppler. I tried it for almost 90 minutes last night, and couldn't take it anymore. Good idea to bring it to the doc's office tomorrow, I just might do it. I'm worried that she's going to tease me for getting it, though (in a nice way, but still!)
