Hi girls,
My doppler showed up last night - YAY! Of course I had to break it out and give it a whirl last night and this morning, even though I was only 8w5d yesterday, which I know is still early.
Here's the thing. I am pretty certain I heard the placental flow (or whatever it's called). I have the digital monitor, and got normal readings on my h/b. But I'm not 100% sure I heard the baby's h/b. A couple times, over the whoosh of the placental flow, I swore I could hear something in the distance, and I would get a reading on the monitor of anywhere from 120-153 over the 3 times I tried it (twice last night, once this morning). The reading would hold for a few seconds, I'd lean in to hear it better, and would lose it on the monitor. Do any of you ever get readings like that without fully hearing it on the speaker?
Here's more about what I did, specifically:
- I know my uterus is tipped towards my spine, so I really pushed the sensor in there like my doc did when she found it with my angel.

Oh Amy,
I KNOW how frustrating it can be!!!
Hi Amy,
It sounds like you are doing everything right!

I really had a hard time and still sometimes do. One thing that seems to work is getting on all fours and then doing it. I know it isnt a pretty sight for me anyways and not exactly comfortable but it has worked every time. Oh yeah and saying come on baby!!! somehow mine just knows to give in LOL

Be careful with the background noises.
Amy.,....I (too) think it might be too early.
