Good morning everyone! I hope that everyone is doing well and feeling ill! As for me I am very scared and nervous.

My hubby is the best thing ever on this earth! Last night I was laying in bed and having my freak out moment, because I just do not feel pregnant and the fact that my little peanut was measuring off by 6 days this last time and everything is just piling up on me. The fear of going through a fourth loss is too much to handle and the fear that not having a heart beat anymore. I have been trying to be so strong, but at the same time I am scared to death. I want to be a mommy to my peanut so much. I have been caring the ultra sound pictures around with me everywhere and just staring at my beautiful baby! I am so in love with this little one! I always thought that once I saw a heart beat I would calm down and feel that everything was going to be fine, but I so have not calmed down! I mean you would think that a heart beat of 136 would reassure me! I am very lucky that I have such a wonderful doctor’s office, because next week I am going to call and try to get in for another ultra sound. It just scares me that my symptoms are not strong! I feel like it is torture to have no strong symptoms when everyone around me tells me that “I am lucky!” Well I do not consider this lucky.

Happy Thursday everyone!

I have a funny thing to tell you guys about and a weird thing: Neither is particularly pregnancy related. I hope you don't mind. For those of you watching the World Cup, I saw the funniest thing on BBC America this morning. They were covering stories about animals playing soccer. They had ants and a bird, but the best one was the tropical fish. The yellow fish v. the blue fish. They were nosing this ball around their tank. The funniest thing was when the yellow fish made a goal. I was sitting there on the couch feeling icky watching this and I tell you it improved my mood immensely (sp?).

The weird thing was this van that I saw this morning while I was driving DH to work. He works at a hospital. As I was pulling out I saw this van coming in and I noticed that there was something painted on the front of it. As I turned the corner I saw the side of the van: It had eyeballs all over it. Gag! Not just painted on. They were decals of real eyes (the iris). It wasn't bloody or anything, but it still made my stomach turn a little bit. The van was from the Virginia Eye Institute. If I wasn't pg I probably would have thought it was cool, but I am so YUCK!

Well now that I have read what I've written I see that I related both of my stories to m/s. Well that's how it goes these days. I see everything through pg tinted glasses! Hee Hee. I hope you all have a great day.

Question: Those of you who have seen a hb on u/s, how early was it? Do you think I will be able to see it at my u/s at 6 wks, 6days? For both of my previous pgs I had my ultra sound later at 8 wks.

Thanks,

Teresa

Jenn,

We cross-posted. I just wanted to say what a stong person I know you are. You have been through a lot so don't be so hard on yourself. It is okay to be scared. When I was pregnant with my DS I had hardly any symptoms early on. I had very little morning sickness at all, but it was all later. It was my first pg so I didn't know anything and it didn't bother me. I had a great pregnancy with no complications. I know it's hard with no tangible evidence beside your picture that you are pg, but it really doesn't mean that you won't go on to have an uneventful pregnancy. With my pg that I lost to m/c I was horribly sick. Go figure. I hope that you are in the 98% too. Sounds like you have a great hubby. Listen to him! I'm wishing you all the best.

Hi guys- Teresa, I think you probably will be able to see something at 6w6d- should be exciting! If I were that far along, I would get one. I loved your fish goal story.. it would probably have made me cry, considering everything does.. Ann, you and I are together right? When is your EDD again? I'm sorry your DH isn't being more responsive. It's one of those things they can't do anything about, so I think a lot of them don't know how to respond. My DH has the opposite problem- he seems reluctant to believe in this pgcy til after we get past the milestone!

Jenn, sweetie, I'm so sorry you are having to go through this stress!! I wish I had a magic wand and could make everything perfect. What did the dr say about the measurements? Isn't it really hard at the beginning to be accurate? I bet there are some people who have stories about measurements being "off" and everything turning out just fine. Maybe it's worth a general post? I just know your little bean wants so badly to be here! I wish we could all find some Zen place or something where we could go to clear our minds. SBV SBV SBV SBV SBV SBV SBV SBV SBV SBV SBV SBV SBV SBV SBV SBV SBV SBV SBV SBV SBV SBV

totally off-topic- this US-Ghana game is rigged! I mean, the refs just gave such a bogus penalty kick to ghana.. now the score is 2-1, Ghana leading. ugh..

Yep we are close - I am 5w6d according to my ticker, but I am figuring the doc will push it back by a few days because of their assumption that everyone O's on the 14 CD.
