I think you have two, as I felt felt it on both sides....it's basically a long nerve that runs down your backside (I think). I always feel the pain right in the middle of my left rear cheek--ha!
I get it sometimes. I haven't gotten it for a while now. Sorry I don't have any remedies. It know it hurts like he**! Let me know if you find out anything that works.

P.S. I just remembered my hairdresser told me about something that her husband used to try, but I can't remember what it was. I'll post it if I can remember. Pregnancy brain, sorry!
I know your are in 2T now, but I hope you see this. I told you a couple of weeks ago that my hairdresser had told me about something that her DH would use for sciatic pain, but I couldn't remember what it was. Well I took DS to get his hair cut this week and I asked her. This is so weird...gelatin. He gets the unflavored kind and dissolves it in herbal tea. He swears by it. Apparently thought it has to build up in your system so it is not a quick cure. I asked her how gelatin is supposed to help and she told me that he has a friend who is a vet and he uses it for horses who have these kinds of problems. Bizarre! She said of course you just eat jello too. I don't know if this will help but I don't think it could hurt. I've never seen anything that says not to eat/drink gelatin while pregnant. Have you? Anyway, just thought I would pass on the info. Let me kow if you try it!
Can it also be in the lowest part of your lower back on one side? Or does it have to be in your "rear"? :)
I have horrible lower back pains, but recently it's felt like a pinched nerve on one side rather than an ache all over. It hurts horribly to walk sometimes! I feel like if I could pop it just right, I could release it, but no such luck.
