Hi Leslie
I am the queen of panic and even I think this is not a worrying sign. My OB and RE don't even prescribe the applicator because of the risk of bumping the cervix and I bet it is just a little irritation.

I have a question, though. How long are you taking the progesterone for? My RE, naturopath AND OB all said 12 weeks is long enough (conservatively) but I went on till I finished my prescription at 13 weeks and used halves for a few days.

I hope you get of the yucky stuff soon and have no more scares.

Shannon

Leslie, don't even apologize for sharing the details. That's what we're here for :) It definitely sounds like the applicator maybe just scratched your cervix. If even the excess progesterone that is coming out is normal colored, I don't think you have anything to worry about. I know that you never want to see even a hint of blood, but this sounds like some mild irritation and not spotting. It is wonderful that you have the Doppler for that peace of mind, and I think your little one is doing great!

Leslie, I haven't had to use progesterone but I'm sure you just irritated your cervix with the applicator. Everything down there is so much more sensitive now and since you aren't actually spotting, I wouldn't worry.

Big hugs!
