I just wanted to introduce myself - I am so happy to be joining you here! I just got my BFP over the weekend and I am very excited and nervous. I had a question for everyone - when did m/s start for you? I was never sick with my last pregnancy, I lost the baby at 12 weeks but it was only 6.5 weeks old so I can't really judge by that. I haven't have any nausea yet, not that I am looking forward to it.
Thanks - I am looking forward to getting to know all of you better.
Heather - I'm hoping you're one of the lucky ones that NEVER gets it! I know my mom never did, and I've been pretty lucky so far (8w 6d).
Sandi - I'm impatiently waiting for an update!
I'm so glad to see so many "familiar faces" here. Let's keep 'em coming! It really is comforting to know that there are other who, at times, are as terrified as I am!
Good morning, everyone! So glad it's Friday. What am I going to do when I'm expected to work 5 days in a row next week? Talk about a shock to the system!
Ann, I am so sorry you're not sleeping well at night- that makes everything worse. I had been tossing and turning and nearly hysterical for weeks- finally this week DH and rearranged the bedroom so that the bed is no longer between the windows (and right next to the a/cs- no, we don't have central air, living as we do in an old Brooklyn apartment building, curses!) Now we can run them all night, and I am actually sleeping a little better. Of course, I'm still waking up and turning over, but not as much. I am also REALLY trying to stay in bed instead of go pee. I think it's helping w/ m/s- and at this early stage, it can't really be THAT necessary. I also have to tell you my stomach has been in knots for the last couple of weeks. I think it's a pg symptom.. Try not to worry!
Sandi, how did that 2nd u/s go? We need an update!! Also, I noticed your cl cap- are you a chat cl on Feb 07 or something? congrats! Also, what's the latest with the job? I have a lunch "interview" today..
Teresa (surreal), congrats on your great test results! yay! Now you can relax and enjoy the 2T!
Where's our other Teresa? (tag)
Heather, welcome to chat- so glad to see you here!
Nina, the carnival sounds like so much fun- wish I could have gone with..
As for me, I tried something different today- did not get up to go to the bathroom until the a.m., ate a cracker before getting up, then didn't eat anything else except a glass of chocolate milk. When I got to work, I had some brown bread and cream cheese. I still feel really yucky, headachy, and nauseated, but I have not thrown up. Last night I only had about 3 ravioli and an apple. So I'm thinking less is better for me at the moment.
I was supposed to go to a bachelorette party tomorrow but I think I'm going to cancel. A) the woman didn't even invite me to her wedding, so that's kinda weird b) they are going to sushi and then drinking/ dancing- no, no, and no for me right now c) I am not very close to the other women (except 1), and I really don't feel like having them be among the first that I tell about the pgcy! I think it'll cause some bad feelings with the woman who's getting married, but..... I don't really care!
Guess this is getting long- so I'll sign off. Wish me luck and no nausea vibes for my lunch meeting today!

Leslie – glad you were able to make it into work. What a miserable morning you had!
Leslie - I'm glad you are feeling better!
The day isn't getting any better with my employee - it's like he doesn't hear me when I tell him how to prioritize things.
Ann- Exactly! I am constantly going to check the tp because I feel something ... I bet my heartrate is totally erratic..
Nina, your carnival sounds so fun! Have a great time!
It's after 5 here.. now just counting the minutes til I can respectably exit.. :)
