Good morning & Happy Monday- Ann, I'm so with you on needing another day. In fact, I think there should be a law that gives women leave for the 1T! Sounds like you had a good weekend!

Mine was okay- I met a friend for brunch on Saturday then walked around the neighborhood with her until it was time to take her home for her surprise birthday party. I hung out for a couple of hours but really couldn't make the dinner. I have just been feeling so yucky! Nothing really helps- yesterday I felt horrible all day until about 9 pm at night.

My bbs are so sore at night! When I wake up in the middle of the night and roll over, it's like two bowling balls..

Still feeling yucky today- but it doesn't really help to be lying down apparently, which is what I did all day yesterday, so i may as well be up and about. I ordered some preggie pops - should be in this week, i HOPE! I hope they work too..

Hope everyone else is doing well-
xoxo

Hello ladies!

Ann-your weekend sounds like fun. Dogs at the lake are a blast! DH had a lab growing up and he has the best memories of taking her out to the lake. Hopefully we'll get a lab someday, but right now our chihuahua is NOT a water dog, LOL.
I can't believe the preggo pops are so expensive, I had no idea. I hope they work for you. Baby stores are still very overwhelming to me. I haven't gotten up the nerve to go in one yet. I probably won't for a while, either. I can't even get my maternity clothes out of the box yet because I'm still afraid of "jinxing" us. Hopefully my nerves will calm down a bit after our doctor's visit, which is still over a week away!

Leslie-I am sorry to hear that you are still feeling yucky. My m/s got really bad at the end of last week and I just haven't felt right since. I hope the pops work for you too. I've never tried them.

As for me, well, besides m/s rearing its ugly head over the weekend I am finding it harder to sleep at night as well, eventhough I am so tired during the day. I take a nap sometimes, but even on the days I don't nap I still find it hard to sleep through the night. Last night was especially bad. It was hard to fall asleep (eventhough I'd already passed out on the couch) and then when I woke up to use the bathroom at 5am, I couldn't fall back to sleep right away either. I am so tired today. I hope I can catch a nap later today.

My sister and her family are coming for a visit on Thursday and staying till Monday morning. I am so excited! They live in MA so I generally only get to see them once or twice a year, and that's if I do the travelling. I cannot wait to see my nieces and nephew and so off Texas, a bit. They are asking if they can ride horses and meet a real cowboy, LOL! Too cute!

Well, I guess that is all fo rme, for now. I have babbled quite enough it seems! :)

Hi everyone,

My weekend was great. I went to a party for my grandfather's 88 birthday and to celebrate my cousin's husband's recent double lung transplant. It felt a little weird to be receiving condolences from family about my m/c in May without telling them about the new pregnancy but I am not ready yet. I also got to see my cousin who just received a clean bill of health after completing chemo for Non-Hodgkin's Lymphoma - our family has been through a lot lately and we really needed this celebration! I came back to Toronto just in time for the end of the world cup, I live in Little Italy so it was quite an experience.

I found out this afternoon that I got into the midwife group that serves the hospital where I want to give birth. Where I live it is so hard to get a midwife, you usually have to take who you can get - so that was amazing news! I have my first appointment with them on Wednesday. I have been having a little nausea that last few days, I think it is the first time in my life I have been relieved to feel sick.

Hope you are all having a great day!

Hi everyone!

First, to all the ladies out there with m/s - I'm sorry! I can't even imagine. Guess I'm a lucky one, although kind of like Heather alluded to, I'd rather have it an know things were well! I only get a little nauseous if I wait too long to eat.

I hope those preggy pops work for you all. I can't believe how much they cost! Don't they know we're all trying to save money to have a BABY!!

Yay for all of Heather's reasons to celebrate this past weekend!

I'm still stuck in bed "taking it easy" most of the time. How boring. Plus I keep getting those "laying down for too long" headaches. Fun.

I have to wait 3 weeks until my next appointment and am afraid of going insane. You see, thus far, I've only had to wait 9 days at the most to go back in since we found out (Doc appts, ER, etc). OK, so I wish we didn't need to go back in that often, but I'm used to those u/s every week or so. 3 weeks!?! How can I make it THAT long?

DH did invite his brother, sister, parents and a neighbor over for lunch on Saturday. We finally broke down and told the neighbor (immediate family already knew). They were so excited and kept telling their 13 month old that she was going to have a friend.

Had a wedding reception to go to Sat. night. Not fun considering the bride is "not nice." She hangs on the groom and keeps him from all his friends (aka DH!). But I made an appearance and made nice. Now that in itself is a miracle.

SIL is being induced tomorrow morning. It will be their 1st. I really like them, but I just recently found out that she never quit smoking completely. Not sure how to react to that considering the known risks. But of course I am praying all goes well. She's pretty tiny, and her DH is a big guy (6'4", 250ish). Hoping Abigail Elizabeth takes after her in size at least for now. I have no idea what to get for them. They never registered anywhere and didn't let me know what they still needed. Maybe I'll just fave to spoil my first "niece" after she's been here for a while.

Pizza should be here soon, and I can't wait. I'll catch y'all later!

Natasha

Hi guys- I had such a horrible night last night- could really use some reassurance. Lately I have been feeling like I have a yeast infection or something- things are just really irritated/ itchy down there (sorry for TMI). I made an appt yesterday for Wednesday to come in. Then last night I started spotting. First it was just pink, then I had one bright red tp incident. I am just absolutely terrified. Nothing this a.m., but still.. Then I am not feeling as bad today- still have the headaches but not so much nausea.

I got practically no sleep- I had a dream that I was reading a book of poetry with a friend and then got the book all wet somehow because my water had broken. In the dream, the m/c was inevitable. Then in the dream I woke up and went to tell Steppy (wanna be steph) about my awful dream, and she said, "oh sweetie, I'm so sorry, that wasn't a dream- you are having a m/c".

I am planning to call my OB in a couple of minutes when they open but thought I would let you guys know..

sorry this is an all me post. :(

Leslie (((big hugs))

Yeast infections are very common in early pregnancy and it could be just irritating things and causing the spotting.

I know how terrifying it must have been to see the blood but try to stay positive.
