Hi girls!! Hope everyone is having a great day!!! I, like Ann, have been totally exhausted all day. DH and I went to run a bunch of errands and all I could think about was how much I wanted to come home and put on my pj's crawl into bed! And when we got home, I did just that-it was so nice. I even shut the door so the dogs would leave me alone!!

About the doctor/midwife thing, I love my doctor too. I think it makes such a difference to have someone you really can trust. In fact, here's how much I love him: DH talked me into going to see a new Ob/Gyn last month who specializes in fertlity problems, and even though I felt awful for seeing someone else, I went. Well, I was due for my pap smear (I HATE those things with a passion) so he did one. Then, all of the sudden I get a BFP, so I went back to my regular doctor a couple days ago, and guess what? He said, "looks like you're due for another pap smear!" So I did ANOTHER one just so he wouldn't know I had "cheated" on him!!!!! He is really nice guy.

Oh, still no m/s yet, but guess what? My boobs hurt again today so I feel a little better!!!

Gotta go fix dinner, so I'll talk to you all later :)

Hi everyone- how are you? We're at Thursday already- so glad. Well, here's my biggest news- I accepted a new job yesterday and resigned from my current one. It was soooo stressful! But I know it's for the best. I still haven't told the new job about the baby- i just don't feel comfortable until I get past my milestone. I feel really weird and guilty about it, but I know that normally I would not even think of telling before 12 weeks. Most people I've talked to have supported this decision- even my dad, who's self-employed and sees everything from an employer's perspective- but I still worry.

Oh well.

Otherwise, I am having a new sleep problem- the past two nights I've woken up at 4 a.m. and not been able to go back to sleep til 6, which is when my alarm goes off. So tired now. The nausea seems a bit better- I am wearing the acupressure bands all the time- but I still have awful headaches. I'd almost rather have the nausea than the headaches I think.

Nina, sorry you're also suffering! Don't worry about the housework- I have not done one thing in 3 weeks. My poor DH has to do everything right now.

Ann, good luck on your appt tomorrow!

To everyone else, hope you're well- sorry I can't remember anything specific at the moment!

K Ladies, so I decided that I have to write down stuff as I read, or else preggy brain doesn't remember anything :)

Melissa~ Sorry you are having such a hard time with the sleeping.

Heather – So glad you had a good appt with the midwife! And I hope that pain is just IBS (not that IBS is much fun). KUP.

Ann I am so sorry about the heartburn. Tums, Mylanta and Maalox are all fine to take -just find a flavor you like. I have the minty Tums I take with me everywhere.

Hey girls. One more day till Friday! (Although my days all run together since I am on summer vacation!! But school will be starting back up soon-I'm a teacher-so I'll REALLY be looking forward to Fridays then!!)

Ann-where do you live? I live in Houston and it is unbearably hot here, too....in the 90's all this week but on the news this morning they said today should feel more like 101. Plus, we have so much humidity it makes it 100 times worse. I don't know why I bother to fix my hair in the morning :) Oh, be sure and let us know how your u/s goes!! I can't wait to hear all about it!

Nina and Leslie, I am sorry you are feeling yucky. I haven't had any m/s yet, but for the past couple of days I have felt kind of sick to my stomach after I eat. I hope you feel better soon. And congrats about the new job, Leslie!

I don't have much to report....I think nonstop about my next u/s which is a whole 4 weeks away-I don't know how I will get by till then!!!

Oh, has anyone flown during the 1T?? We are leaving for Miami next week and I am just wondering if anyone else has traveled during the 1T...is it okay?

Elizabeth - I flew at 6-1/2 weeks and 7-1/2 weeks. I was mildly nervous, but everything was just fine. I've heard the only reason you're not supposed to fly in your 3T is in case you go into labor, so I don't know if there are other reasons for not flying.

Also, most of my nausea has been after eating, too, but it has improved a lot recently. Brushing my teeth is the worst though, as I mentioned in my earlier post.
