Kind of worried...

Ok, a lot worried!! For the past couple of days, my boobs have completely stopped hurting or feeling sore. The weird thing is that at night, they get sore again, but as soon as I wake up they aren't sore at all anymore. I guess I should be glad, but it really worries me that my symptoms (what little I have) are going away. I will be 7 wks tomorrow-is it too early for the breast tenderness to go away? Is this normal? Thanks....

Remember every pregnancy is different and some people have terrible symptoms the whole time, while others could go the whole time with no symptoms at all. It is normal for symptoms to come and go so I wouldn't worry about it. I know that is easier said than done.... before I could feel the baby move I would keep poking my boobs to make sure they

Elizabeth,

I agree with PP - things change from day to day and from person to person.

Elizabeth, I'd say to try not to worry but that would deserve a big "YEAH RIGHT, I'M A PAL!!!". LOL! The truth is that I'm sure everything is fine. My symptoms would come and go a lot in the begining. In fact, I was sort of a 'late bloomer' when it came to the preg symptoms. Everything seemed to take forever to kick in permanently...morning sickness, sore bbs, etc. But aparently that's just what was normal for me because here I am, 4 days away from my 3rd trimester and all is well. While I'm sure you and baby are perfectly healthy and going strong, your dr will probably be happy to ease your fears by doing a blood draw or maybe even an early US if you beg enough! :)

Elizabeth,

I like you have symptoms that come and go. I did when I was pg with my DS as well. Things got a little more consistent with DS when I hit my 2nd trimester. Since I wasn't a PAL then I thought nothing of it. Now of course I overanalyze every little thing. I know it's hard not to worry, but try. I got really worried last week because my m/s had gone away and then I went for my u/s on Thursday and everything went really well. I had worried for nothing. M/s has reared its ugly head again, but as you know it's kind of reasurring. Try to think positive. We all know how you feel. Sending lots of sticky vibes your way!

Thank you all once again for reassuring me-I knew I would feel better after hearing from you guys! Oh, and Steph, thanks for the vibes you sent me...I think they worked b/c some of the soreness came back yesterday!!! :)

It is so great to have a place to come and get all your fears out and hear from people who have gone through the same thing-I know I would go crazy otherwise!!

Elizabeth -

My BBs were killing me before my BFP and up until 6 weeks then they stopped - entirely. I would go so far as to say that they felt normal but bigger. I paniced but everything was fine. They hurt again around 10 weeks but then stopped. Now I only get BB pain every once in a while. Do not let it worry you. They will not hurt for the entire pregnancy. Do you have an u/s soon? That is the only thing that ever convinced me that all was well.

Hang in there.

Hey Meg-that is so weird because that is EXACTLY what happened to me-they hurt sooo bad starting on day 15 of my cycle and then never stopped, up until last week, which was week 6 for me. (Even though at times they would hurt more than others, they were still sore.) It is very reassuring to hear the same happened with you, and that it is okay if they don't hurt the entire pregnancy. My next u/s is scheduled for August 7, exactly 2 weeks away. I have been thinking of calling the dr and asking for a blood draw, but he told me last time that the only time he really does that is if he thinks something might be wrong, so I am thinking I might just wait it out (torture!!!) until the u/s. Thanks so much for your help!
