I think I need to move down to 2T but am going to stay here until I get my results back from last week if that's OK.

Had a quiet weekend - I just don't seem to have the energy to do anything but I think that is partially because its hot and partially because I am lazy :-)

I was hoping that my enthusiasm for work would improve after getting my NT test last week. While I am no longer as worried I still don't want to do the work I need to get done. I work from home and while I am at my desk like I should be I am achieving nothing. I don't know if I need to take a few days off and see if that helps or if that will just make it harder when I get back.

So are you going to do the Triple screen\AFP test? I've heard that you can get a lot of false positives so I am trying to decide and looking for some thoughts on what others are doing.

Hope everyone has a good week

Hi Ladies ;)

DH and decided to escape the heat here and go to our Grand Mesa (it was 75 degrees there and you needed a light weight jacket in the shade) It was soooo beautiful and so nice to get away!!!

I spent the weekend gardening and then off to my nephews 4th birthday. Nothing too exciting.

It's supposed to get warm here too 90's-, just in time for my ds-8 to start football practice Tuesday. Too hot coach!

I have been trying to give myself the twice daily lovenox injections. It reallly doesnt hurt getting the needle in its 5 minutes after that it burns. I just have to psych myself up for it for about 5 minutes and then I am better. I have some fantastic bruises on my legs.

Amy - hope all goes well at your appt this week. I'll be joining the appt crowd this Thursday!

Sandi - now that doc has changed my dates, you and I are at the exact same spot!

Ann - my doc was warry about renting a doppler too. He wants me to figure out if it'll help me or stress me out first. I just don't know...

Carpal Tunnel is acting up again today. So typing with 2 ill-fitting wrist braces on isn't fun. Thus, off I go...wishing everyone a great start to the week!

Hi all,

Well, we didn't end up doing anything very exciting this weekend after all. All the things that we thought of were outdoors and it was just so hot! We did go downtown to the farmers market and get some really awesome blackberries and tomatoes and we had Sunday morning breakfast at this great diner that we haven't been to for ages. Other than that we just sacked out at home.

I have a dilemma: On Thursday a group of coworkers and I have made an appointment to go and see the White House. I have never been inside and I have always wanted to go. We are driving up really early (6:30) because our appt. is at 10:30. We are going to do our tour and go and have lunch. The rest of the group then wants to see some other sites in Washington. I have been feeling pretty good lately so that is fine except for how hot it is supposed to be. You can't ride the metro everywhere in D.C. so we will have to do some walking outside. We should be coming back around 3:00 so we won't be sightseeing for a really long time. We will probably just go to a couple of museums, indoors. I am worried that it will be too hot for me. I really want to go, but I don't want to do anything dangerous for the baby. I think the heat index is going to be over 100. I am carpooling because I just don't think that I have it in me to drive by myself up there. So I either go with the group or don't go at all. Also nobody knows I'm pg and I really don't want to say anything because I haven't gotten a chance to tell my boss yet. What do you guys think? If I keep hydrated and keep walking outside as much to a minimum as I can, do you think it's okay?

Rebecca - stay as long as you'd like - we won't kick you out or anything!

Alisha - almost to 2T, just a few more days!
