Good morning, ladies!!

Ann~I am so with you on the sleeping thing. I am tired throughout the day, but can't seem to nap, for whatever reason. I have been going to bed extremely early for me and then not sleeping through the night. Tossing and turning, weird dreams, and getting up to pee. It is rather frustrating, but I hear it is supposed to get better soon. Happy 12 weeks, btw!!
Sorry the doppler is giving you problems. I hope you find that little h/b next time you try!

Teresa~Good luck at your appointment today. Keep us posted!

As for me, I am going into my old school today to meet with the director about a training I am supposed to give next week. I am, oddly enough, looking forward to it, as it will be an opportunity to leave the house and I haven't seen my teaching buddies pretty much since school let out in June! I should only be gone for a few hours though. I will definitely be checking in with you all later!

Have a great Thursday! :)

Hey girls,

We have musical beds going on at my house too. I was just thinking the other day that I should do a poll to see what everybody's sleeping arrangements are. DH snores really bad. It's awful. Normally if I can get to sleep before him it's okay because I'm a really sound sleeper, but now that I'm pg that's out the window. I'm up and down all night and I can never get back to sleep with him sawing logs next to me. Right now we take turns sleeping on the couch. DH has a hard time sleeping out there, but if I really need to sleep in the bed, he'll do it. I slept out there for most of my pg with DS because I could prop myself up better and I wouldn't slip down in the night. I had really bad reflux and if I didn't sleep propped up I'd wake up choking. Sometimes I go sleep with DS now that he is in a big boy bed. Sometimes if he wakes up during the night he has a hard time getting back to sleep. We have a futon matress on the floor beside his bed. It's pretty comfy. We never know where we'll be from one day to the next!

I sleep either in my bed with dh, on the couch or on the floor on ds#2 room. The floor is killing my hips but he seems to be going through some sort of fun phase where he wakes up a zillion times. Oh so fun.

I think I am going to get unisom and try it just for the sleep since I cant really sleep through the night. Its not even that I have to pee that much its just not sleeping that's killing me. I will let you know how it goes.

Have a nice afternoon!

Hey Trixi-Did the nurse say why she wouldn't order another HcG? I know that sometimes overloading on info can be a true enemy! You start thinking the worst!! I hope the next three weeks go by quick for you!!

Teresa-thanks for the suggestion! The unisom seems to be working most of the time. :) I hope you have a good update today!

Amy-Thanks for that suggestion!! I remember seeing them in Target too a few months back so I wasn't really excited about it then. Thanks for the reminder! I am going to have to visit Target this weekend!

Ann-Glad you had an uneventful trip! I'm so afraid of getting a doppler because both of my babies were really hard to track. My old ob had to use both hands with Ivelisse. One to hold my stomach and the other for the doppler! LOL! I leave that for the pros! I hope you find it soon!

I'm also in the same boat Ann and Melissa are! But let me tell you, you don't get much sleep in the 2T. I think you get so used to it by then that you walk around like you've had a full night's sleep. But I was still getting up to pee at least once or twice. My DH even moved the bed closer to the door!!

Yeah - happy Friday everyone!!!

So I had my first gender dream last night - in it, DH and I were at the "big" u/s and told the tech we didn't want to know and asked that she turn the monitor away, but instead she pixilated over the "parts" but I still knew it was a girl.

Hi everyone,

Ann-That is so funny. I have been thinking about gender a lot lately too. No dreams yet though. I really have a feeling that this baby is a girl. DH is hoping for another boy. I don't really care. It would be fun to do all the girl things, but I think it would also be nice for DS to have a brother. We plan to find out at the 20wk u/s. Did you and DH ever agree about finding out? What did you decide? Tara just posted a list of ways to guess your baby's gender. I'm all over the place and of course some of them don't apply yet. I hope you have fun telling everyone at work since you have to anyway. Have a good Friday!

Teresa,

I am still "winning" the gender decision, although he still isn't happy with it!

Happy Friday! I am always bad with gender. Right after I had spotting a few weeks ago I had a dream that I was holding a baby and he had a giant penis. So we shall see. If I had to choose I would love another girl but boys are so sweet.

We shall see what my MIL thinks when dh decides to tell them. Its hard for him. He is an only child so they think we are slightly crazy to have so many kids plus he said he still sees himself as 17 and he got his girlfriend knocked up. He is too funny. Plus of course they tend to be big worriers so it will be nonstop worry with them. I dont want him to tell them about the injections or anything else because it will panic them more. Just know we are expecting and due in March.

We have my oldest ds birthday party with mostly family this weekend and that's about it. It will be nice to have
