Bad cramping, please stay baby...
| Tue, 08-22-2006 - 3:51pm |
Well last night I started cramping pretty bad. It was accompanied by nausea & I was down all night. All I could think was don't go baby, stay with mommy until you get big enough I can hold you and take you home with me. I didn't have any spotting but I'm feeling pretty down. DH is useless. I have another u/s Thursday & I am praying baby bean has grown and the heart rate has gone up. Anyone had bad cramping and still been ok? I was trying to convince myself that it was gastrointestinal from the cefuroxime antibiotics that I've been taking. I don't know what I'll do if this baby isn't ok....

Aimee,
It sounds like it may be stomach cramps.
Hi Aimee-
I just asked my peri yesterday about cramping and he said that it was more than normal, its expected.
Hey there,
I just wanted you to know that I am thinking about you and I hope all goes well tomorrow! You are in my thoughts and prayers!
I have had some bad cramping with no spotting as well as spotting with no cramps and so far, so good. It could be gastrointenstinal, as that is what my cramps sometimes end up being, or gas, even. BUT, cramps are very normal during PG. I hope you get your piece of mind tomorrow!

Hi Aimee
I am sure that was scary for you. I think generally speaking as long as you didnt have any bleeding along with the cramping you are probably ok. I am almost 39 weeks along and I did have some pretty bad cramping in my early weeks. It sort of came and went, I would have a week or 2 with bad cramps including back pain and everything and then a few days or a week would go by with nothing and then bad cramps again. So far all has been well for me, but it sure was scary! I think that what you are feeling is totally normal - but I know how unsettling it can be. Try to hang in there...
