First of all, I want to tell you ladies how touched I am that you thought of me today. When I saw that thread I started crying. Ok, I'm a weepy pregnant woman but it was so nice to see that someone cared.
SO...I found out why I've been cramping so bad. Apparently there is a spot of blood next to the amniotic sac. The sonographer called it an "amnio-"something. I can't remember. I didn't understand what she was saying happened but some kind of tear between the sac and something that started with a C. She said that hopefully it will disolve but that I need to take it way, way easy.
Now for the good news. Baby Bean measured 7 wks today (was supposed to measure 6w6d) and the heart rate was 143! She said that since the baby is doing well that I should try not to worry about the blood thing. I left feeling worried anyways because I just want things to be fine and now there's something else. I can't even ask Dr. Google because I don't remember what she called it. Does anyone have any clue what this condition is? Luckily, my sonographer is a saint and scheduled me to come in 2 wks and check to see if it's getting better. I can't pick up my 21 month DD now which is hard because she is such a high maintenance girl. Well, baby is sticking, let's hope that blood doesn't!!

Aimee, I'm not sure what the name of it would be, but it's probably best if you don't google it anyway. Sometimes the internet can put even more fear into us (if that's possible!). We tend to just see the "if"s and not the positive sides. If your dr said not to worry then try not to. I know that you will of course because that's just what us PALs do but it's usually unnecessary because all turns out well in the end. I'm sending many P&PTs to you and your little one for a long stay here! Keep us updated!

Aimee,

I'm glad to hear that baby is doing well. I don't know about the blood thing, but I hope it goes away. I was thinking about you today even though I didn't see the thread until just now. Take it easy!

Hi Aimee!

I'm so glad the little bean is fine. :) As for the blood clot thing, I don't know too much about it, but a friend of mine had it and and she is due any day now! She has a 3 & a 1 year old, so taking it easy was challenging, but some how she did it.

So, do whatever you can to take it easy, no lifing, limited stairs, etc. I know it will be hard not to want to smoosh your beautiful little girl all day long, but maybe do it while sitting. :) Hang in there and we are all here for you!
