Spotting and freaked out

So on Aug 21 I get my first of 3 positive HPTs. Within a couple of days I start spotting (slight brownish staining in underwear). Figure I had a m/c and period in on it's way. I bring my pee into my Dr to confirm pregnancy so it will be on file b/c this would be my third one and I would of course want testing. Spotting lasts for about 4 days and then stops. Well yesterday afternoon it starting again. I am so sad. I have an u/s on Wed and honestly at this point I just can't be my hopes up. I tell myself that lots of women have spotting but I didn't have any with DS and I did with my miscarriages. My previous 2 were missed miscarriages so my body has an evil way of holding onto my pregnancies. Sorry to ramble but I'm just so freaked out and I need to tell someone.

Thanks for "listening",
Mandy

Try not to freak out. I had spotting 3 different times when I was pg with DD. I know its hard not to worry, but my m/c was a missed m/c as well, no bleeding. When I first started spotting I was freaked out like you, but all turned out fine. I hope the same for you :)

Mandy,
Only an u/s can tell for sure, but it may just be implantation and you are worrying for nothing. Spotting can happen for different reasons, not just impending m/c. Hang in there until you can see your Dr. I'll cross my fingers for you!

Thanks for your words of encouragement ladies!! Either way, I'll let you know how the u/s on Wednesday goes.

Hang in there Mandy. I too spotted with this one from weeks 5-11 straight. I had 0 spotting with my m/c. So I'm hoping it's just one of those fluke things for you too. Do let us know. Hugs and SBV,
Natasha
