Hi ladies...
I got a call from the nurse today saying that my last progesterone number (drawn last Wed.) came back a bit lower.

Cheryl -
I cannot believe that your Dr. said 24 was low. I thought anything over 15 was good. Then again my RE does not test prog. he just puts people with Recurrent miscarriage on it. I guess it can flucutate a lot over the course of a day.
If you find that taking oral prog. makes you crazy tell your Dr. he can switch you to suppositories. THe suppositories are no fun at all. But oral progesterone made me a real lunatic (I think I was on 400 Mg twice a day). I cried all the time and was not at all able to cope. The suppositories gave me a quarter of the side effects. Just wanted to say to share!
I am so glad that you have such a wonderful Dr. Keep the good news coming!!!

Cheryl,
I have already talked to you on the phone and everything, but I wanted to let you know that I am super excited for you!!
Hugs,
Jenn
Go baby go!
I was on the suppositories, and I believe in my heart that the progesterone made all the difference in being able to carry this baby to term.

First off, CONGRATULATIONS!!! I haven't been on this site much, I kept up with you and the other ladies on the TTC after loss board. I'm so happy for you!!!
My progesterone levels were at 8.9, very low. And the doc put me on the same MG as you for 13 weeks. All is well and I'm 17 weeks along.
Good luck and if you have any questions about the meds, don't hesitate to ask.
Take care,
Kel

The prog helped me feel more secure in my pregnancy. I hope it does the same for you!
Glad your bean is doing well.
