Hi guys hoping that everyone is having a good week and that your belly's are getting nice and round :) Sorry I didn't get a change to update yesterday, but it was a long and a little stressful day. I went to the Dr. appt with my husband got weighed gained 4 lbs since my mc in Feb. (the last time I got weighed was my mc appt) My blood presser was good and or course had to pee in a cup. I think I lost a lb with how much I had too pee I drank a bottle of water right before to make sure that I would be able to go on command. The nurse then tried to find the heart beat she tried for 5 min and nothing. I was so scared and my nerves started to kick in. The Dr. then came in and said that if he couldn't find it after the exam he was order an ultrasound to ease my mind. He said that it was not uncommon if we didn't hear the heart beat as I was 10 weeks to the day. Well, he then told me that I would be getting a pap. My heart sank I didn't want to do that while I was prego, but he told me it was safe and that I should get it done early as I was up for a new one in Dec. So I agreed and he papped away and checked me. He said that my cervix was closed tight and that It was nice and long and my uterus felt right on at 10 weeks. He then moved on to the doppler and as soon as he placed it on my belly he said "there it is nice and strong at 164 bpm." I was so happy I was crying what I wonderful sound. Then on to the 4 viles of blood that needed to be taken and a husband who just hates needles, but he is a good sport and stayed with me. So my next appt is in 4 weeks oct 23rd I will be 14 weeks. I did have a little scare after I left the Dr. office and went potty at home there was a lot of CM and some red blood mixed in. The Dr. said it is very normal and not to worry. Well, the good news is after that potty trip there as been no more blood and I feel more at ease again. Oh but when I saw it I almost lost it and had flash backs. I just reminded myself that I have never spotting this pregnancy and the day that I did I was checked and had a pap. So it made me less of a mad women with that thought even though I did take it easy for the rest of the day. Anyway, sorry for the novel but I wanted to let you know what happened. Talk to you guys later.
Hugs,
Natalie

Yeah Natalie - That sounds like a good doctors appointment. It is normal to spot a little bit after a pap smear, I almost always have. I'm so glad you were able to hear the heartbeat to set your mind at ease. I love hearing of good doctors appoitments. Thanks for the update.

Natalie, I'm sorry that you had a couple scares, but if it makes you feel better, I spot whenever I get a PAP - while I'm not pregnant! Glad it stopped and that you got to hear the h/b. Congrats!
