Thought it was time that I stopped lurking and got to know you all a bit better. My name is Julie and I live in New Zealand. I am currently 10 weeks pregnant after 3m/c. I have a gorgeous little boy (most days) who is 2.5yrs called Sam. My DH has just accepted a fantastic new job in a new country (Australia) and starts over there on Monday! Sam and I are staying in NZ until the end of March when I finish work. The company I work for pays you 14 weeks full salary when you take maternity leave so it's worth waiting for and will also give me time to sell our house and tidy up loose ends. Sydney, where we will be living in Australia is a 3 hour flight so DH will come home every 3 weeks for the weekend. It will be hard with Sam on my own but hopefully it will go quickly.
In terms of symptoms, I know what you all mean, I am contantly analysing if I feel sick, as tired, etc each day to determine if everything is still ok!! At this rate I will drive myself crazy!!
Nicole - it's good to see you back, I hope you are doing ok, it must be a really tough time for you and your DH.
Kari - I had acupunture during my first pregnancy (with Sam) and also used it to bring on labour when I was 4 days overdue. Very effective as I went into labour 5 hours later and had a great natural drug free delivery.
Well, here in NZ it is Friday morning so I'm looking forward to a great weekend, even if it will be the last with DH for a while. Have a great weekend!
NZ is a great place to visit - we will come back here to live at some stage.
I also have been having accupunture during the past few weeks to help prevent mc. I have a great lady who is also a trained midwife and nurse. Accupunture has been to help keep my progestrone levels up rather than using meds and to keep me relaxed and stressfree (fat chance). Seems to be working though. I didn't want to be induced with Pictocin and was recommended accupunture to induce labour. I have to say I didn't really believe it would work but have to say I'm now a convert! Lucky you getting into 2T - I can't wait as there is something reassuring about being past 13 wks!

Melissa, I feel pretty good.
Emily, what a great pic of you and your little girl!
I've decided that symptoms don't mean very much either way!
