Sorry it's been a while since I posted on this board. Life has been getting really hectic lately with ms kicking in. I mostly just have food aversion, although I do get sick sometimes. Anyway, here is how my dr. visit went today.
Aparently, I wasn't scheduled to even see the dr today. The nurse took me back to do the u/s. She tried to do an abdominal first. 7w5d? Are you kidding me? Well, she couldn't find anything, so I asked her to please do a vaginal one. She does, and can't find anything but a big, empty circle. All through this, she's making comments like "you got a + hpt?" and "could you be a couple of weeks off?" Driving me CRAZY!!! Well, the dr. pops his head in to see how it is going. She hands everything over to him, and he finds the baby in less than 15 seconds. We couldn't see a hb right away, but saw a slow flicker a couple of times. That made me and my dr. a little nervous. Anyway, he turned on the sound and the hb was just wirring away at 163. Aparently the baby was laying in an odd position so we couldn't see much. The baby measures 7w6d, so one day ahead.
I think they said my corpus luteum is pretty big, because the dr asked if I had any pain on my right side. They also looked at my ovaries which have cysts all over them. I think I'm convinced I have PCOS. So, this may be our last baby, but I'm ok with that. I need this one home, in my arms, and all will be well.
Well, thanks for reading my novel. I do try to keep up with all of you, and post at least once a week. I hope all is well!

Oh Amy I'm so sorry you had a nurse who didn't know what she was doing and stressed you out!
Emily,
That is wonderful news about the heart beat and baby! All I want to say is Thank goodness your doctor popped his head in, because that could have been a very bad ultra sound and made you worry for NO reason.
Hugs to you,
Jenn
I can't believe you are still alive to tell this story.
Emily,
I'm so happy for you!!!
Have a great day!
Emily
