slow-going but getting there....

well, just got the results of my beta this morning...
1st beta: HCG=40.5 progesterone=15
2nd beta: HCG=63 progesterone=25.5

i freaked a bit when i heard the HCG but the nurse reminded me i only had about 1.5 days in between blood draws and she and the dr both agree that today's # is still in the normal doubling range. phew! i'm still perturbed that it didn't jump higher but if the dr isn't worrying then i won't worry (yet!) either. i'm going in for another beta on monday morning and hoping and wishing with everything that i have in me for a good #. the progesterone took a nice jump so that was good to hear.

anyhow, i still have yet to fully introduce myself but i will get around to it! there's a mini intro in the top section in my ? about lovenox.

thanks for listening and if anyone out there has some slow-moving HCG stories w/happy endings, please share!

SBVs and hugs, stef

I was so confused at first but after I backtracked and read your post upstairs I get it now.

Welcome! Your progesterone numbers look great! I am so happy you are back so soon and I will keep you in my thoughts and prayers over the coming weeks. Your new doctor sounds wonderful.

I agree that 6 days is a long time for sperm to survive! What an awesome miricle.

Take care.
