Happy Halloween!! I know for everyone else its a day early but it's Halloween here in NZ today (tue). I love Halloween with all the kids trick or treating. We had a nice weekend - DH was home for the weekend. Went to friends for dinner on Friday and then went out on the boat on Sat. No wakeboarding for me this summer which is going to be a real bummer - but I guess theres always next year. DS went to a birthday party Sunday morning and then DH went back to Sydney Sunday afternoon. Other than that it was just catching up with friends, shopping and housework.

Nicole - I know what you mean - I far preferred to stay at home than to go out on the town now especially to avoid the "your not drinking" questions. Daylight savings for us has just started so we have gong the other way and are getting up earlier. The upside is that summer is just around the corner...YAH!

Who else is about??

Hi Ladies,

Nicole - I am surprised no one asked you why you weren't getting in the hot tub.

Here is what is happening in my exciting (NOT!) life...

On Saturday we sat around and did absolutly NOTHING. (the weather here was horrible, rainy and very wind). Well, actually I guess I didn't completely do nothing, I read the book 'The Other Woman' which someone here recommended, it was quite entertaining.

Sunday me, DH and my step-daughter (SD) visited a corn maze. It is a very cool, very fun thing to do if you can find one in your area. DH and SD also went on a haunted hay-ride but I passed on that one, I'm too chicken! :0)

As for things in my preggo world, I keep eating and eating and EATING AND EATING!!! Some of it is truly an increase in appetite but I think some of it is just anxiety and comfort eating. Last time I was preggo I gained about 6 lbs in less than 1 month. I really hope I am not headed down THAT road again!!!

That's it for me :0)

Nicole = If you're in Florida I am 5 hours behind you time wise but a day ahead. It's 7.20am here so DS and I are just heading out the door for work. Will be back online in an hour or so. Good to hear someone else is sharing my wakeboarding pain!! Have a great day.

To everyone else - I'll catch up with you soon...work calls.

Michelle - so glad you liked that! it was me that recommended it! it reminds me so much of my Dh and his mom when we first got married. thankfully, even tho we live MUCH closer (1.5 hrs vs 8 or 12) i'm the one now that asks when we are going to see them. heehee.....

Nicole - how do you rent one of those, and how much are they? peace of mind is a wonderful thing....

as for me...scared today. wasn't for the past 1.5 weeks, but today, scared. can't explain why, no symptoms, well, no bad ones anyway. but still scared. i think we found out too early that we were pg. last time we didn't find out until about now, and so symptoms like DH's m/s (yes, HE got it last time, not me!) and such kicked in faster then they are now. i know i shouldn't WANT to rush this, and hop into symptoms, but man, I just want to know everything is ok. I called my OB's office. they know me by name now...lol...i'm 5w4D and they know me by name. by next week, they will know the sound of my voice! :) but the woman there calmed me down by reminding me that i'm still so early in the pg that symptoms may not show up yet. Thankfully they are being very kind (at least to my face). when i went there 2 days after my m/c (on ER dr's orders) they argued with me the day before about making the appt, then were bad mouthing me (and i heard it all) that i didn't have ins, but "got myself knocked up". excuse me, I had explained we had just moved and were inbetween ins. geez....they were really rude then. The dr was wonderful tho, and I told her what had happened. she was ticked!!! but lately they have been fantastic to me on the phone. i'm so glad. we'll see....i'm just so inexplicablely scared.

as for my weekend....we went NOWHERE!!! well, ok, we went shopping for a couple hours (it takes about 30 mins to do a lap around the mall, it's so big!) and i got a pair of flats (they are h*ll to find!!!) and a couple pairs of pants from Motherhood that were on clearance. i love sales!!!

ok, later....how is everyone else?
