Debb, I had a feeling when I read it that whoever recommended it must have been able to relate to the situation..LOL!!!
So is anyone else out there pigging out like a madman? Seriously, I just had a bunch of laffy taffy (it tasted so delicious, I swear the best laffy taffy I have ever had!) I know I am on my way to packing on some serious pounds!!!
oh my gosh!! Katie - my arms have been going to sleep too. do you sleep with your arm under the pillow too? that's when mine gets tingling. Michelle - EVERYTHING looks good to me right now. i gained 8 lbs from week 5.5 to week 11.5 my first pg. i'm trying NOT to do that again...we shall see...
for those that didn't see my post to Nicole above, you should check out "Belly Laughs" by Jenny McCarthy, and "Frankly Pregnant" (can't remember the author.) her website is www.franklypregnant.com totally funny!! very reassuring too...i love them both!!!
ok, off to watch my Pats kick tushy in monday night football!!! can I grab Tom's booty? please!!!! or Teddy, that's fine too...heehee
I have to say I'm having a busy week - so inconvenient went it interfers with me getting on line!! Sorry I haven't been around much this week.
Nicole - I loved your posting Raging Hormones. I can definately relate - when DH left for Australia last week (only for 3 days)you'd think I was saying goodbye forever. Poor DS (2.5yrs) was really worried and even brought me his blankie saying "it's ok mummy, I miss Daddy too" and gave me a big hug. In terms of the whole sex during pregnancy debate, as I'm currently placenta previa, I can't have sex - very frustrating when DH does come home on weekends. Can't win. NZ is 19 hours ahead of Florida time wise - but not sure where Forida sits in terms of EST?
Vandana - great to see you had a great us - hope that has given you some reassurance.
Katie - I anxiously awaiting the arrival of my Tangerine Altoids from Dr Soda although after Michelles posting about laffy taffy - I'm now wondering where i get that from! Sounds like you had a great day at the Zoo - I love taking Sam (DS) to the Zoo as he just loves it and it's a great way for him to burn off some energy. I'm also struggling with the sleep thing - often tired but just can't get a proper restful sleep. I saw something on tv last night about flotation when they emerge you into water (lying on a floatation device). Apparently an hour in it is like 8 hours in a deep sleep. Sounds devine to me right now.
Michelle - Eating is a bit of a misssion for me especially with DH away as I don't feel like cooking meals at night. My biggest problem is deciding what I feel like eating. I tend to be eating really bland food but have had huge desire for fresh fruit (pineapple, melons, etc) and fortunately we are just coming into our summer fruit season - can't wait.
Debb - thanks for the recommended reading - another very humorous book is called Up the Duff by Kaz Cooke. She's either an Australian or a Kiwi but writes as a new expectant mother - it's very funny!
We had Halloween here last night but we only got about 4 groups of trick or treaters which was a little disappointing. Sam was standing at the door waiting for them with lollies - he loved having all these kids dressed up coming to visit - very cute. Hope you guys have a happy halloween and a great day. Well as it's 6am it's time for me to get ready for work. Julie
Thank goodness someone is about - I'm guessing everyone else is out trick or treating. Tri 1 has been pretty quiet today but as I've been MIA so far this week, I can't complain.
Glad to hear that your dr's appointment went well and your weightloss has stopped as I'm sure that was worrying. Keep up the good work and take care of yourself.
Good luck for the move, you know we will all be thinking of you and hoping everything works out ok. I know it will be a tough time for both you and DS. You know we are all here for you if you need us.
Everyone else.....come out come out wherever you are!! I'm bored!
Nicole, I'm glad everything is okay and you will very soon be in the 2T! I can't wait to get there.
I am having a freaky time the past few days. I finally got some sypmtoms over the weekend (sore boobs, upset tummy). But now they have mysteriously disappeared. ACK!!! I know this fluctuation in symptoms can happen in the 1T but it is nervewracking nevertheless. I may call the doctor if this symptomless state continues for much longer..
We only had 2 trick or treaters last night! A brother and sister. And not only that but after I gave them the candy they gave us Teddy Grahams back! The father said they wanted to give something in return!!! So we gave 2 candies away and got 1 new item in return!

I'm about to pick up my son from school to go trick or treating but wanted to give a little update.
Hey Melissa
