Hey Nicole - glad to see you back as it was pretty quiet here yesterday. Congrats on your appointment - I'm so glad it went well. I've got my NT scan today so am feeling a little apprehensive. The good news is I'm 12wk today and that feels a little reassuring. You'd really enjoy Up the Duff = very funny with lots of 'first time pregnant humor' not specific to Australia. Still waiting on my altoids...can't wait. I havenn't got a doppler yet(you can buy them here for about $80 which is $40us) I think like you I'd panic if I couldn't find the hb so might wait a while.
Mel - hope you are doing ok and the shifting is going well. Drop back and see us when you can.
Michelle - you've got me thinking about laffy taffy now...something else we don't have here. I don't normally have a sweet tooth but pregnancy has changed that. Can't eat chocolate but other stuff....I think I will ban everyone talking about anything sweet. We do get Reese pb cups here but I've gone right off them - most unusual cos normally I love them.
Katie/Vanadana & everyone else - where are you.....
Best hit the shower..have a great day everyone. I'll post later today after my appointment.
I am just 8 weeks. I had pretty much no symptoms until just 1 week ago. Then my boobs started hurting and I felt tired and my stomach was a bit off, no throwing up though. But now the boobs are fine, no matter how much I poke at them they will NOT hurt! :0(
I am bit a tired, though :0)
I will search for that other post as you suggested, Thanks!
We've all done the over analysis of pregnancy symptoms so can seriously relate to what you're going through. Any time I felt the slightest bit nausious I was relieved. My symtoms have definately come and gone during the first 12 weeks (other than the tiredness) but I know how unsettling it is when you suddenly don't really feel pregnant any more. Any time it's got to the point where I'm feeling really nervous or unsettled, I pop off to see my OB (who is very understanding).
As Nicle suggested - check for Tara's post about vanishing symptoms but if you're feeling really apprehensive see your ob as it's reassuring just for that peace of mind.

Hi Ladies,
Sorry, I've been missing out on our conversation.
Hi everyone!
Hi there Katie :)...
I'd love to see pics of your DS in a penguin costume, please post if you get a chance.
Oh well...if you insist...I will show off pictures of my boy.
I'm trying to attach them.
