Apt Update

Hi girls,
My first OB apt on Thursday went very well. I go to one of those big practices where they have lots of doctors that rotate and the nurse midwife that does your first apt. They did the obligatory bloodwork and urine sample, and a PAP. We went over all the introductory stuff, chose the hospital and talked about the quad screening, 20 wk ultrasound, etc. THe midwife laughed and said that she loves my first apts because I make it so easy on her b/c I know the answers for everything already.
She did an internal and said that my uterus feels slightly more enlarged than she would expect for right now (I was 6 w 2 d at the apt) but that if anything that was a good sign. Last pg with my m/c she didn't feel any enlargement of my uterus at 7w, and I"m all for things going as opposite from the last time as possible!
She offered an early ulrasound, but I turned it down for now. I guess everything is going so well that I don't want to rock the boat. My bw has looked fabulous, no cramping or bleeding, and everything seems good. Last time I lost the baby two days after a really good looking us, and I guess I am really nervous that the same thing will happen again. Stupid, I know.
So anyways, I'm rambling - everything looks great and things are going well. I lost my last pg at 7w (next week for this pg), and am pretty nervous but if I make it through that I think I'll start feeling a little better.
Hugs to all,
Amanda
