Don't know whats going on

Hi ladies,
Well, I don't know what's going on, but I have a feeling it isn't good. A short recap - I'm 8w, 2d along, had an u/s last week and saw baby QM (short for question mark) and her heartbeat at 158 bpm. They also found a clot between the placenta and uterus that they diagnosed as a subchorionic hematoma.
I have not had any bleeding or spotting since the ultrasound, but last night I passed a small brown clot. I was of course concerned, but I wasn't too anxious as it was totally brown and had no red or pink blood mixed in. I didn't bleed or spot with the passing of the clot or anytime after the clot. I did feel some strong pressure in my uterus area last night, but nothing I would classify as cramping.
I woke up this morning and there has been a definite decrease in my symptoms. I had no m/s at all this morning, in fact I feel like a million bucks. My bbs are still slightly tender, but nowhere near how they were for the last two weeks - more like how they were when I just found out I was pg.
I called the doc and talked to the triage nurse. She said the brown clot could be related to the SCH, and they aren't concerned as long as there isn't spotting or pink or red blood mixed in. She also said that I'm still early enough that my symptoms may vary by the day. In other words, she wasn't concerned at all. They don't want to bring me in for an apt, and said that there isn't near enough to warrant another u/s.
I on the other hand am very concerned. If it was just the clot I don't think I'd be that concerned, but paired with my mysterious vanishing symptoms (my symptoms have otherwise been consistent for over two weeks now), I feel an impending doom. So, I guess since the doc won't see me, I just have to wait and see if my symptoms come back, or if I start cramping or bleeding. I hate to be so pessimistic, but I've been through this before, and I know last time they told me there was nothing wrong too, just to come to find out I lost the baby two days later when i started bleeding.
So I hope I am very very wrong. Time will tell I guess.
Thanks for listening.
Hugs,
Amanda

Amanda, I am so sorry you are going through this and I'm sorry to hear your doc won't see you. That must be really frustrating! I don't have any experience with passing clots or SCH but I have had a lot of spotting and I've definitely had the vanishing symptoms (concered me enough that I called the doc as well). Anyway, so far everything has been fine despite the symptom disappearance. I really hope everything is okay with you and your little bean! I will be thinking of you! Keep us posted.

I am 10weeks now. I've had spotting off and on from 4wks to 8 and 1/2wks. In my case, though, they never figured out why. The last time I had spotting my symptoms vanished as well so I beeped the doctor and they brought me in for an U/S and everything was okay. I actually haven't had much nausea or sore boobs or anything since then. I guess it was just time for what little symptoms I was having to begin subsiding. I've noticed that my boobs have decreased as well but now they seem to be increasing again. It's weird but I'm definitely seeing some fluctation but the u/s says all is well so it seems to be okay...

Amanda (((hugs))), this must all be so difficult and confusing.
Amanda,
I am so sorry that you are having to go through this. Now I think that it is horrible that your nurse will not let you come in for a quick ultra sound. I say go to the emergency room! This will give you a peace of mind.
My symptoms did come and go also!
Hugs,
Jenn
(((HUGS))) Amanda.
I have to say I think your doctor's office's response is unconscionable.
