Well I have nothing to compare them to because it was my only blood draw but they came back at 26,000-something.

Kristin,

Your HCG numbers look wonderful!! I had a abdominal ultra sound at 7 weeks. It really depends on the level of the machine. If they are not able to see anything then they will more than likely switch to the vaginal ultra sound!

Waiting and praying for a wonderful update!!

Hugs,

Jenn

Well I will keep you in my thoughts and I am hoping for a wonderful Thanksgiving for you. As for the ultrasound I can't answer because I got the vaginal at my 9 week ultrasound. I can't imagine they would tell you to drink the water if they didn't think they would be able to see the baby. However, with my last pregnancy I had a abdominal ultrasound then they asked me to empty my bladder so they could do the vaginal ultrasound. So if they have trouble seeing what they need to see I would imagine they would do the same for you. Good luck.

Kristin,

Try not to be too worried. They always scheduled me for an abdominal u/s. If they had problems seeing anything that way, they'd just switch to the vaginal u/s. Those numbers look great, so I'll be looking forward to your positive post!
