I wanted to share that I have not had any spotting for 3 days in a row!
I had been spotting from 3 and a half weeks to 7 and a half weeks EVERY day with one episode of bleeding.
This is my second PG with the last one MC at 5w1d and also spotted every day from 3 and a half weeks.
Last time the OB told me that if I have no spotting for 24 hours then I would be "out of the woods".
I am aware that the spotting may return and I am ok with that. I'll try not to freak out I promise.
But I have never been PG without spotting and I am really feeling like we can keep this baby.
I am so happy that we can start a family now. I'm 35 and although at high school I was voted by my friends as most maternal, it hasn't worked out for me in terms of meeting the right man until now. It didn't make sense to me that I wouldn't be a mum. I hope I'm not getting too ahead of myself here, but I want to enjoy this as others who haven't experienced miscarriage seem able to.
Now, as for that 'morning' sickness... Not recommended in 40+ degree Celsius weather in a house that has no insulation and a dark roof from 1925 with holes in it!

That's such great news!
Congrats that your spotting has stopped. 40 degree heat - I'm sure I read somewhere that you are in Australia. Where abouts are you? I'm currently in NZ but shifting to Sydney in about 12wks - would be nice to think it wasn't 40 degrees in Sydney although DH who is already over there said it is around 40 some days!

Hi Julie
Thank you for your response.
Yes, I am in Adelaide, Australia, where it can be quite hot and dry (although not as hot as Perth). Sydney also can have hot days, but I think not as many as Adelaide. The temperature there seems to be a few degrees cooler than Adelaide in general, but the heat has more humidity. I think the nice thing about the weather over here is that although you can have a run of hot weather, it does cool down after a few days. I spent some time in Cyprus last year, where it was above 40 continually which was too much to handle. Plus you can always go to a Sydney beach to cool down!
New Zealand is somewhere that I am very keen to travel to. But I think I'd need a fair few weeks to do it justice.
