Has anyone seen my energy???!!!

I feel like it has slowly disappeared over the last few weeks until this point -- where I now feel like the walking DEAD. I am sooooooo tired and sluggish. I remember this with my dd's pregnancy, but I was a teacher then, and I think being on my feet all day kept me from "noticing" it as much. Now, I'm a business owner and do a lot more sitting at a desk, where I jsut want to put my head down, close my eyes, and wake up in 8 months!! Plus now I have 3.5 year-old...oh!! I can't wait until this part passes. ;)

If anyone sees a shred of my energy, send it back my way please??!!

Maria, heehee... I laughed about what you said about our "energies" going on vacation together. Let's hope they don't stay gone for too long.

And thanks too for posting about the heating pad. I was hoping someone would say it was ok!! So sorry about your back -- feel better soon, sweetie!

p.s. do you ever feel like you're neglecting your dd because you can't lift your arms or move your butt off the couch???? I do!!!! UGH.

I just have to join you ladies here.........only a few days ago I posted about having no symptoms at all, now I wish I had kept my mouth shut as they seem to have hit with a vengence yesterday, and I feel no better today!!
I have 2 dd's one 3 and half and one nearly two!! I practically slept the whole day away yesterday, my dh let me sleep in till about 10am(lucky me, but he did owe me), then we went to the beach for about an hour to wear the girls out, then came home had lunch and by 3pm I was back in bed again, slept till 5:45pm, got up had dinner, put the girls in bed, and I was back in bed again by 10pm, and slept till 7:30 this morning, only waking once at 5am when the dog woke me to go out to pee. And I could hardly drag my butt out of bed this morning, I still felt so tired. I can't even remember the last time I slept so many hours undisturbed in a night!!
Of course Dh is at work today so no nanna naps for me!! I am just trying to fight through at the moment, and will just try and get an early one tonight. I really hope I get some energy soon, or my kids are going to run me ragged! My 3 year old is ok to sit and watch some movies, or play with puzzles and stuff, but dd#2 needs constant entertainment, and has never watched tv for longer than about 10 seconds! And it feels like as soon as I sit down at the moment one or both of them wants a drink, or to use the toilet, or they have a fight over a toy, or something!! I've just put dd#2 down for a nap, and dd#1 is watching a dvd, so fingers crossed they'll stay that way for a couple of hours at least!!
Emma

Hope all our energies are enjoying there vacations, wish I was with them!!

Emma,
I think our children have a sixth sense about "when mommy sits down, ask her to get back up." Don't you think??? Mine needs a drink or has to go potty every time I sit down (she can't reach the light switch, and she keeps moving her little stool around the house). I feel guilty, but I have been telling her I can't get up right now, I'll help you in a little bit. To this point, since she's our only child, I guess I've been at her beck and call all the time. I guess that's about to change anyway -- maybe this will be good practice for her. :)

Here's to parenting toddlers during the 1T!!!
