I am 12 weeks today! I am doing well, I don't have many symptoms anymore, only a few humger pains, bloating and gas. I have been trying to use my doppler and I do hear a heartbeat, but don't know if its mine or not! Someone posted here saying you can here your own sometimes. I have my next appointment in 2 weeks.
Hey gals, i'm not sure if I belong here or in the 2T, I'm 12 wks 5days, but I'm so used to posting here, so I'll do it here first. I'm so glad you guys are doing well. About the doppler, try counting the beats, a baby's heartbeat is 120 or above, yours is usually between 60 - 90 beats per minute...thats a fast and easy way to know what you're hearing. And this early in the game, the baby is very low, so go almost to your hair line in the center to try to listen. HTH. Happy chatting and hopefully happy weeks to you all. Love, Jenn
Well, not much going on here. I am 5 weeks today and not having a lot of symptoms. I think I had a bit of m/s this morning but it quickly went away. My bb's have been more sore and i'm starting to feel more nauseous. So, having symptoms is making me a little more relaxed. It's hard though, but i'm hanging in there. Just have to chill for a couple more weeks and I'll have my first u/s.
Michelle - Those symptoms sound very nice! Keep them up :) Heather - I wish I had a doppler to use, I've been thinking about getting one. They say the baby's HB sounds like galloping horses. You could also put the doppler over your heart and compare that to what you hear in your belly. Jenn - You've got until 14 weeks to get to that 2T mark! Almost there!!! Hang out with us till then ;) Bentley - I'll miss you! Hopefully you'll be seeing me in 2T in 3.5 weeks... Seyles - Wait one more week or two and your symptoms should peak. You might be one of the lucky few women who don't really have any symptoms.
As for me, this week has me very worried so far. I'm 10 weeks, 3 days and I've had some light cramping the last 2 days (maybe just some uterine stretching? I'm hopeful). My lower back has also been killing me today. Its just on the left side down by my butt cheek, so I'm hoping its just my hips. Anyone else in 1T had this pain? I'm just really worried because I had the same pain develop in my first pregnancy which ended in m/c. I don't know if its a "normal" pain or not since I've never had a "normal" pregnancy. And I also don't know if its actually cramping that I'm feeling either. I'm just feeling really scared and desperate right now, every now and again the thought pops into my head "I'm losing this baby." I hate that. Hopefully tomorrow is a better day.
I'm sorry this happened! I know it's scary! But what great news that your baby is fine. I hope your follow up with your dr goes well. Let us know what happens.
