Torri,

Tell you’re very sweet DH that this is very normal and that your friend Jenn was the same way during this pregnancy! I either eat or had to visit the restroom to worship the might thrown. This is a wonderful sign and I can not wait to hear those wonderful numbers from you tomorrow!

Torri,
I had to LOL at your post this morning. You know, all of us were starving at one point or another during the 1T, but you are likely having TWINS one of which is a BOY, so I'm not suprised at all about you starving. Also, tell DH if it is twins, 80 pounds is not unreasonable! LOL!
Good luck! I wish I could say it gets better, but it hasn't for me. I've only gained 6 pounds though, so this little guy really does burn up the calories. No worries :)

Hi Torri! I remember you from way back on TTCAM ~ CONGRATS!!! I haven't been around much since I have awful m/s. But I have been starving too! I'll eat what seems like a reasonable amount of food and be hungry again right away, it's crazy! I am trying so hard not to gain too much weight since I just had a baby, but if I don't eat something I get so sick and I know a lot of women are this way. Good luck!

Hi Torri, congrats again on your numbers!

I had to LOL at your comments about the hunger! It is so absolutely normal and for me it continued until 16 weeks and tapered off. The best advice I have for you is to eat small but frequent meals and find a healthy snack that you love where you can grab a handful and keep some in your purse. I started off with low fat cheese its, and then moved to cheerios. I still munch on the cheerios now and then when I have a bad day of m/s they are nice and bland but have fiber.

If you are having m/s and need some relief, motion sickness bands from the drug store work really well (have to wear them 24 hours a day) along with sucking on hard candy or preggie drops from Motherhood Maternity.

Have a fabulous week!

Oh, yes... I feel your pain!!! :) I started to feel like I was going to starve to death around 5 weeks, and I am still having to eat every 2 hours or so. I have to get up once per night to get some food in my tummy too. I am almost 12 weeks now. I guess my advice would be try to eat small meals and little snacks. But I know what you mean... the hunger for me is intense too!
