I had my NT scan this a.m. and the dr. said everything looks normal! The baby was measuring right on at 13w0d, heartrate of 164, NT measurement of 1.4. It was so great for DH and I to see the baby for so long, arms and legs moving all around, doing somersaults!! Its amazing with so much movement that I can't feel anything!! must be b/c he/she only weighs 2 ounces! Just wanted to share w/ everyone. . .

Deb, that's so wonderful!! I'm so happy that all looks good with your little pumpkin.

I, too, have been amazed that I can't feel the baby after seeing him/her move around so much on U/S. I mean, even at only 2.5 inches, it still seems like I'd be able to feel SOMEthing!! Oh well, I'm sure that;s coming soon for both of us. :)

Congrats!
Nicole H.

p.s. My OB has not said anything about getting a NT scan... I am 31. Should I be asking for this?

Hi Nicole!

The dr at the place where I had the scan done said they used to only be recommended for women over 35 and women w/family histories of downs or trisomy issues, but now they are recommending them for everyone, so they are overbooked and can't keep up. Can't hurt to ask you doctor!
