Letting my nerves get the best of me....

Another question girls....I know the whole "constipation" problem when your pg cuz of your hormones BUT.....(maybe TMI) with my last pg and m/c I remember some constipation. Then, the weekend before I knew I m/c I had very soft stools. I thought this may have been a sign I was m/c but the m/c was missed b/c I never bled. It scares me cuz I thought yesterday I was starting the constipation thing again but this morning I had a loose stool. I know you girls will understand..has anyone had this happen in early pg? ANY info is appreciated (not a fun subject, I know) thanks

Keli,
keli -
i havn't posted on here yet, but i have been following your posts. i am 6 weeks 1 day. i am letting EVERYTHING get to me. i don't have many symptoms (like none) which is freaking me out.
everyone says that every PG is different and i am trying to remember that as should you!!! these first few weeks are proving very difficult for me as it sounds like they are for you.
anyway, with my son - my 'movements' were all over the place so try not to use that as an indicator. maybe you had more fiber yesterday, or drank more water or whatever.
when do you go in for your first ultrasound?

You know, Keli, I've been worrying about the exact same thing, because I remember the same with my m/cs.

Keli,
I'm in the 2T right now and I know exactly what you are talking about. With my first pregnancy that ended in m/c I had the same thing, constipation and then loose stools. With this pregnancy I had the same thing happening in 1T and it scared me so much. The thing is that with the first one, I was really pregnant. Just because I had a m/c didn't mean that I wasn't having correct pregnancy symptoms, my body was pregnant regardless of what was going on with my baby. To explain why this occurs, my midwife said that our body is in a fluid build up stage and its taking in so much fluid from what we eat at certain times and sometimes its more than the baby needs since its so small. That results in loose stools. And then it adjusts and thats when we get constipation and it just keeps bouncing back and forth until it finds a happy medium. And its always different with each person, so some of us may experience this while others don't. I hope that reassures you somewhat.
