hi -

i thought i would introduce myself. i am about 6.5 weeks pregnant. i found out a few weeks ago - i posted on the TTCAM board but am sort of freaking out b/c i am not really feeling symptoms.

i have had two missed m/c (with a beautiful boy in between!). the first was in 03/2004 at 11 weeks (i saw the HB at 8). i then had the love of my life - my son 04/2005. sadly, i had another missed m/c 09/2006 at 6-7 weeks. i have been to an RE, and to date, they havn't found anything wrong w/ me. i am taking progesterone and baby aspirin.

nonetheless, the lack of symptoms is really freaking me out. i am just not 'feeling' pregnant - so i havn't even allowed myself to get excited for fear of the worst. i have had my HCG levels drawn and they were good (149 CD 13 then 529 CD 15, then 12,900 just over a weeek later).

i have my 7 week ultrasound next tuesday. please send me SBVs - but also, i would love to know how the hell you guys got through this horrible 1T. the days go by SO slowly - and its all i can do to keep myself from thinking the worst, constantly checking myself to see if i feel any symptoms, constantly worried things aren't going right.

of course, love to hear those stories about all of you w/ no symptoms too!

First off, Katrina- CONGRATULATIONS! I know it is so hard to relax and get excited but we are all right here with you. I am almost 12 weeks and I can't hardly believe I'm almost at the 2T! It does seem like it takes forever but just take it one day at a time. Remember every pregnancy is different- even in the same woman! I also had a hard time when I didn't feel any symptoms, even if it was just for a day or even a few hours! I almost get excited if I start to feel nauseous! Hang on until next week for your U/S. It was such an amazing comfort to see that little heartbeat. Know that I'll be thinking of you and sending tons of SBV's!

Hey!
congrats on your pregnancy!

I m/c in Dec and found out 3 weeks later that I was pregnant again. I'm currenlty 11w3d pregnant. It hasn't been easy, but this board has been a huge help. At first I was freaking out because I didn't have any symptoms either. I just didn't feel pregnant. But then, the m/s came full force! I had it really bad for about 5 weeks and then it started easing up. Of course I kind of freaked out then as well.

the main thing that has gotten me through until now, is support from my dr and focuing on the positive. I've also already had 3 u/s. 1 to date the pregnancy, another because I spotted for one day, and then another at my regular ob appt. so far my baby has been growing well, heart is beating and there is not reason to think things aren't going well.

If you can, focus on your hcg levels, because they look great! that is such a good sign that all is well. and I'm sure when you have your u/s next week all will be good. also, as far as symptoms, try not to stress about not having them. You may be a lucky one who just doesn't have m/s this time around. My SIL hasn't had any symptoms and she is 18weeks along. Her baby is doing great.

Hang in there!

ug - thanks everyone. your msgs help a lot. i have been lurking quite a bit but decided to bite the bullet and post - hoping it will make it more official!

i guess the other thing that worries me besides the lack of symptoms is that my stomach is as FLAT as a board. w/ my other PGs i think my clothes started to feel a bit tight or something? i don't even feel a bit of tension in my lower abdomen.

anyway, thx again.

I wish my stomach was flat as a board! And mine is not because of baby!

anyhow, I haven't gained any weight...actually lost a few lbs from being so sick. At 11 1/2 weeks, all of my clothes still fit perfectly. I surely thought by now they would start getting tight! I was worrying about this a little bit a while ago, but so far my baby is doing well and somehow growing, even though I'm not.

You'll lose that flat tummy soon enough! Just remember how great your numbers are! that's the best indication that all is good. Your u/s will confirm that.

there is a saying around here....Faith over Fear. Remember that.

Katrina,

Honestly the only way I got through 1T was literally one day, one minute at a time. And I know, 1T feels like it lasts FOREVER!!! I also would be much less sane if it weren't for all these wonderful women here. This place is a lifesaver. Your hormone levels look really good and keep in mind that symptoms generally start to peak between 9 and 11 weeks (I think). Keep us posted on everything. Wishing you a long, healthy and happy 9 months!

Katrina,

I am sorry about my late response, but I wanted to let you know that with all my other pregnancies I had symptoms, but I lost all of those pregnancies. This pregnancy my symptoms were not very strong at all and I am not a very healthy 33 weeks pregnant.

katrina-

im sorry for your losses.

Congrats on the new pregnancy!! :)

I, too, and dragging through the 1T. Each day seems like a hurdle but days turn to weeks. Today im 10 weeks and i just cant believe it!

Ive had u/s's every week since 6 weeks and everything is going well so far. The u/s's really help me know everything is going well in there since i also am not having crazy symptoms.

My main stmptoms have been hunger (4-7weeks...still poking in here and there) queasy (4 til now but not as bad as the days pass, just more intense when it comes) and EXHAUSTION (6- to now). I have barely had sore bbs, sometimes they burn and aches but its not consistent. All my symptoms have been on and off. And last week ive now had the moodiness come around.

Some days i feel wonderful, others not so much. I have not puked and my BBs dont hurt, the 2 main symptoms you always here about. So that made me worry.

Also around 9 weeks i started feeling better. The doctor said this is from my hormone levels leveling out and the placenta taking over so in a few week if you start feeling any better, dont be worried, its normal!
