Ok, I am starting this post out by saying that I am not complaining, I'm definitely happy to be pg, but:
I'm just so darn tired! I am tired in the mornings, get up and go to work, then get home and can barely move. I've been pretty irritable with DH too. When I get home I try to eat something but my appetite is not great. Then I usually fall asleep for 30-45 minutes. I have been getting up and either watching TV or going for a light workout at about 8pm. It's hard to make it to the gym but I feel better when I'm done. The past few days I have been queasy all the time too. No vomiting thankfully.
This morning was the first time that I thought maybe my pants feel tight. Bloating possibly? I may need to get some stretchy work pants.
Sue- I completely understand about the tirednes. I was on the couch watching TV with my DH and fell asleep! That never used to happen when I was pre-preggo! Now I get home from work and school and I am ready to zone out.
I have been tired too! I was not this tired when PG with DS! I have to give credit to you ladies who are working/ going to school. I am a SAHM and so thankful that if I want to, I can lay on the couch all day and sleep when when my son naps. I am about a week away from the 2T:)With DS, I felt great in the 2T and even the 3T. Looking forward to it...
Hi girls....good to hear from you all! Tired, YESSS! That is all too familiar. I am so ready for the 2T its not even funny. I am not exercising cuz I am too chicken right now, so I am having lots of trouble with clothing. I have another u/s today, as part of my weekly regimen. It is at 3:15. Kind of excited, of course nervous. I hope and pray all is still going well. I am in my 10th week........its taking FOREVER!!!! No puking for me at all so far, I haven't felt great however. Sounds like everyone is doing fantastic except for the tired part. Nicole.....(forgot your sign on, your hubby is a doctor) been wondering where you are and how all is with you? Take care Keli
Kelly--that's great news about the nuchal scan. I'm so happy that you, Laura, and Keli (soon) will graduate to 2T. My OB says it's 12 weeks so that's what I'll go by. I'm glad too that everyone seems to be feeling relatively good.
I got bloodwork results today and my progesterone is good so I don't have to go on Prometrium. So that's good news. I have a repeat scan 4/20.
I am amazingly tired this pregnancy as well. And nauseous whenever I am awake. And eating like crazy, usually while pregnant I have to force myself to eat. This does not bode well for my waistline. Eating makes me less nauseous for about 40 minutes after eating. And if I eat protein (like meat), I feel even better... urgh
I wonder if the exhaustion and nausea has something to do with taking the Prometrium as well. It is hard to tell, since the symptoms/side effects are the same.
And don’t get me started on grumpy (lol). My poor children. My DH is out of town AGAIN, so he misses it.
So far he has been away February 21-Feb 28 (when my dad had his surgery). Home one week. Found out I was pregnant on my birthday, March 7th. He left again March 9th – March 15th. Home 4 days, left again for FL March 20th-March 25th. Home 4 days, left for CA March 30th – April 5th. Home 3 days and left for AZ April 9th (Monday) and comes home April 13th (Friday).
Needless to say, I am SICK of him traveling and handling everything alone! I would normally have my Mom to help out, but she has been busy with my dad, who started Chemo this week.
No wonder I am grumpy & tired now that I wrote it out.
Oh Jacqueline, thats sucks! I was whining about my DH being gone for just a few nights! Its hard with kids. I love my DS but he wears me out sometimes! He just started walking so I am constantly chasing him around. But he is also a reminder that this 1T crap is worth it:)

Does anyone else want to get to 2T so badly?

Hi Sue,
I totally agree about the tiredness.
Hello all!
