1st appointment update

Hey ladies. . .

I was so reticent to make my appointment, and when I did, they actually got me in way earlier than I expected.

At 6w2d, there really wasn't much beyond the usual bloodwork, peeing in a cup and the like, but my doctor was very encouraged at how things looked.

He said I looked "supple," whatever that means, and I told him that nobody had called me that in a long time and we had a good laugh.

He also said that it seemed like I had good hormonal support (better than my last two), so he was very encouraged that things would turn out better this time.

So I'm feeling better about the whole thing, but will feel better when I go back for my next appointment, as I should be able to hear the hb by then, right?

Of course I'll freak completely when I get closer to that appointment, since that's when they discovered something was wrong last year at this time, but until then, I'll enjoy every queasy moment!

Thanks for listening!

I go back July 2. I'll be about 10w, so I'm hoping to hear the heartbeat! :)

Dr. also said I'd get an ultrasound around 12-15 weeks as well, just to check up.

Hi Julie,

So glad to hear your visit went well! I just posted above, we had our 10 week visit yesterday and couldn't hear the heartbeat yet, but we did get to see it on u/s, so if you don't hear it, know that it might just be too early! Hope you are doing well and looking forward to spending a good long time here with you!
