6.1 wks 8008
6 weeks 5 days 14859
7 weeks 18149

What do you think of these numbers? My regular ob said he was looking for a 66% increase over 48 hours but I've also heard from our buddies on this board that once it gets over 1200 that it takes 96 hours to double. Help! I'm worried!!!

Try not to let the numbers rule you. As long as they are going up, that's a good thing. Just like once they're outside the womb, babies grow at different rates which means the hormones will be a different levels.

I know it is hard, but try not to obsess over where they are or where they should be. It doesn't mean there is anything wrong. I've seen people upset that they were only at 48% doubling, rather than 52% where they thought they should be. There are guidelines, not absolutes.

My RE gave me this helpful info:
The beta-hCG levels
do not double after about 5 weeks of gestation when they are in the 8-10k
range. They are also not as predictive of a normal pregnancy as an
ultrasound with a heart beat after 6 weeks gestation.
Phew!
