Hello Girls,

I hope you all had a nice relaxing weekend!! I had a great weekend. Saturday my mother, Ireland, and I went shopping. Then yesterday we stayed home and grilled out. Ireland and Travis got in the pool, but I just haven't been in the mood to swim lately.

I am getting so excited and nervous about my U/S next Wednesday! I just hope I see a healthy little baby in there. I love my OB/GYN. She is the same one that delivered Ireland so I've known her for a while.

I hope you all have a great Monday!

Hi girls,
I get my (almost) 9 wk ultrasound next Tuesday. My dh will be travelling to India then on business (he's an architect) and so my aunt is going with me. Almost exactly a year ago at my 9wk u/s I found out my little one wasn't with me anymore so this is a big one. I do feel differently this time, though and am on progesterone, baby aspirin and prescription folic acid. Anyway..I'm super tired and bbs hurt and am crossing my fingers that everything goes great.

Thank you for the advice. That is my new goal: take one day at a time. Are ultrasound appt.'s that hectic for other women? I feel like throwing up when it's time for one. I am so anxious for my next one..so I'm doing a lot of positive self-talk about it. Btw, did you feel like your pants were a little snug when you were around 8wks?

Girls I was lurking in 1T chat- got some time on my hands today!

First off Alice, I think I missed your post that you're pg. Congrats! I remember seeing your posts and siggy often at TTCAM. I think you look like JLo in that pic with your DH. Hot! Congrats on your pregnancy and I hope everything goes well for you.

Maureen I'm so happy to hear that you rented a doppler- you'll love it and it really does give you piece of mind. Yes, you'll probably be obsessive about using it for awhile- I used it 3 times a day for a bit- but it's better than constantly worrying and running off to the OB all the time! If you can hear the HB- it's all good. It really does make you feel better. Good luck and let us know when you hear the HB on your own....

Hope all the 1T ladies have a great week! FAITH OVER FEAR!!!!!!!

Hi Ladies,

Maureen, first, let me say how envious I am of DH whisking you away on a surprise getaway! How romantic and thoughtful. He's a keeper. Can I put him in touch w/MY DH?? Just kidding. Mine is great too....he is just feeling a little clueless as to what to do and what to expect. I just bought him two books about being an expectant/new father--a funny one and a more serious/fact-based one, and he is devouring both of them! Anyway, please post on Monday and tell us where you went and how it was!

Oh--I got very nervous before my u/s! I never had the experience of a missed m/c, but I read about them (unfortunately) all too often on this board and TTCAM, so I am afraid of hearing the words "I'm sorry...." My NT scan is Thursday, and I keep telling myself that if (WHEN) all goes well, I will just let it go, assume that from here out, it's all good, and enjoy the remainder of this pregnancy!!!! Yeah right....then it'll be, as soon as I hear the heartbeat, as soon as I can feel him/her move, as soon as I hit 24 weeks....I'm just a little ball of worry! You all know how it goes :)

Hope you are all having a good week. Bentley, thanks for dropping in to say hi! You're so close now...I remember you from my lurking days at TTCAM, so it's great to see how far along you are.

Take care,
Wendy

You girls are a lifesaver. So I shouldn't feel crazy for having tight pants at 8 wks? Good. I haven't actually gained any weight but my clothes are snug. I am counting down until my next u/s: 7 days left! Thank you, Bentley for the congrats. It looks like you will be having a little Leo soon! How exciting. You are so crazy to think I look like JLO in that pic but thanks! You made my night!
Let's have a good rest of the week!

Hi girls!

The strangest thing happened last night...When I was inserting my progesterone (it's in a syringe thing like yeast infection medicine) I bumped into something and it wasn't comfortable! It didn't really hurt but it wasn't pleasant. I'm guessing it was either the vaginal wall or my cervix. I've never felt my cervix before. I'm not the type of girl who goes searching for that thing! LOL

Anyway, just wondering if anyone else has had this experience? I know were more sensitive down there when were pg so I'm hoping that's all it is.

I kept walking around feeling my breasts today to make sure they were still sore. I told myself I wasn't going to POAS again either, but, I caved. The good thing is I'm 8-9 DPO and the line is coming up before the control line and while it's not as dark it's not faint either. The last time I was pg it was faint and it took a couple minutes to show up.

I have my first Dr's appt next Thursday. The doc will basically check my HCG level's and my thyroid.

I don't have many symptoms yet. I'm only three weeks and I know shortly they are coming. All I'm feeling is a little wet and some small craps here and there. If I change position they go away so I'm not concerned. I do feel kinda sore down there though. Anyone else?

Ok, enough babbling. Sorry I'm excited!

Yusra
