Soreness of bbs--does it change for you?

My nipples seem less sore and now only occasionally feel like someone is tugging on them and the sides of my breasts hurt but they don't feel as tender as before. Do you think this is o kay?

Hey, Alice,
This is one of the things that changes for me, too.

I talked to a doula who said it kind of depends - she said if sore bbs is one of your PMS symptoms, you're more likely to have sore bbs during first trimester.
Mine definitely changed--initially, the nips were EXTREMELY sore. Now I'd say they're more just "sensitive", and, like you, the sides of my bbs now hurt, although mostly just in the evenings. The good news is that, at 13 weeks, I finally have quit caring! I don't feel myself up anymore! Woohoo for progress!
Hang in there,

EDD 12/24
my boobs hurt SOOOOOOO badly from week 5 until about week 12. Sore all over and the nipples especially. The they were totally normal from week 12 until about week 20ish. Now they have been very itchy and sore and heavy since then, I'm 30 weeks now. Really only the nipples are tender now, but they do feel very huge and heavy. And leaky!!! Weird. But they have certainly undergone lots of changes.
I'd say any changes are completely normal, even if they suddenly stop hurting like mine did at 12 weeks.
