Nothing new....he says I am "probably" pregnant. He and I had to have our little argument about the accuracy of home pg tests....he says since the darkness of the line is open to interpretation he can't say for sure. I told him that I had a good dark line and he said I was "probably" pg. I was sent for the prenatal bw: antibodies, HIV, RH, and pg test....so I will know for "sure" on Mon. He did an external exam on my abdomen and it still hurts! I had a full bladder at the time (What else is new?) and I think he bruised my bladder. I have been achy and sore ever since and it is scaring me. I'm not cramping, but to a PAL

Hello Rachel,

I really wish your doctor wouldn't argue about if you are pregnant or not. That is just silly! I hope you get to feeling better! I'm sure you will be right next to the phone waiting for your results on Monday.

Sorry Rachel, but your dr. sounds like a jacka$$. Isn't he the same one who last time said you were not PG at all?? Duh. He must have some redeeming qualities, or you'd find a new doc, right?? I know Monday will bring good news!!

Good grief! This doc sounds like a pain to deal with! At least you'll "know for sure" in a couple of days.

I think this doctor needs some patient sensitivity training! Does he think the entire HPT industry is a scam??

I hope Monday gets here quickly, and you get all good test results! Hope your bladder is feeling better soon, too.

Hugs,
Kitty

I agree with the pp, Rachel!

With my first pregnancy, they did a (pee) test for me at the office because I hadn't even considered that I might be pregnant until that morning. When they told me I was pregnant, I questioned the accuracy of the test (I just wanted to be sure!) and they said "there's no such thing as a false positive". They were very adamant about that. Anyhow, I think your doctor might need to come out of the rude dark ages!
