Ridiculously freaked over cramps
| Fri, 06-22-2007 - 9:18am |
Okay, I know they're normal during the 1T, but I'm freaking out anyway. I've been having them off and on since I went to bed last night. Even got up at 3am to do some research on the net to make sure they were normal. Then proceeded to try to convince myself everything was fine and just to go to sleep.

LOL.. be careful what you wish for with the nausea.. it may come with a vengeance in the next few weeks and you may take that statement back! :)
Glad you feel a little better about the cramps though. It's tough. It is the hardest thing to sit back and trust your body after you've been through a m/c. But sometimes we have to! :)

Candace,
I know it's scary! I'm sorry you or any of us have to go through
Oh, hon, I am so relieved you posted! You and all the reassurances from everyone have made my day so much better, thank you. I'm right there with you-freaking out too-early in 1st trimester (not even sure how far, since I stopped paying attention to my cycles after fighting i/f for 6 years!) My nurse and doctor are happy for me, but I can't feel happy yet? I'm waiting for the other boot to drop?
Every twinge sends me to the bathroom to check for spotting. I've had a lot of achiness too, and I am sure *that's* the start of a m/c too. I was sure (riding with DH) on a bumpy road yesterday that it was shaking loose my poor little bean! I made him change lanes to get in a smoother lane! How crazy am I!?!?
I can't be as wise as the others here who have been through it, but I can totally sympathize with the going through it. Every little cramp and ache worries me. The advice here is really good, it is all we can do is to distract ourselves and just take it day by day?
I've got 2 angels (both around 6 weeks) and so this little surprise, about 18 months after discontinuing i/f treatment, is too good for me to believe yet. Going in for an ultrasound on Friday-hoping for a heartbeat! You hang in there too!
