Hi Girls, I haven't "chatted" here yet. Hope I do it right!
I am about to go get more blood taken to check my hcg levels so we can compare the with Friday's - I'll know around 2 if everything looks OK. I am SO nervous.
I hope I get a different nurse than on Friday - she left a huge bruise on my arm, which doesn't usually happen.
We didn't have anything that we absolutely had to do this weekend, which was so nice! We had a completely boring weekend. Loved it!
Yusra, I'm thinking about you too. Let us know what your doctor says.
I'm 6wks today. Last time I miscarried I was at 6wks1day...so I'm nervous about tomorrow. But I'm just trying to stay focused on my first U/S on Wed. Once we see something I think I'll feel a lot better...just don't know what I'll see that early....
We had a pretty relaxed weekend as well...and I'm off work today so I'm extending mine a bit! Last night we went to see the Lion King. It was great -- the costumes amazing!
Megan - Good luck with your levels today! You can always ask for a different nurse or do what I do and very nicely let someone in front of you so you get someone else. It makes their day and yours!
Candace - I'm sure you are fine and I'll be praying for an uneventful day today and tomorrow especially!
Danielle - I don't know if the sickness is comforting or irritating, but I hope you feel better!
My weekend was pretty long. Saturday was my MIL's birthday and so we spilled the beans. She wants to have a baby around soo bad. Once we told her we had to tell everyone, so all of our families know now.
I went for another blood test today and I'm pretty nervous. We're hoping for 6,000 or better!
My cramp on my left side that I've had for 6 days now feels worse today. I'm fighting the urge to call the doc.
I don't know about everyone else, but I'm dying to know how Yusra's doing! I've been thinking about her all weekend.
GL to everyone waiting for test results, appts. and ultrasounds! Praying that we all get good news this week, and that we all feel good (but not good enough to worry - LOL).
We had a family party Friday night, and I still managed not to tell anyone else. They were all drinking, and, although I did have one virgin mojito that I carried around for a while, I am surprised no one noticed me drinking water the rest of the night. DH thought I should just tell them, but I really want to wait until after the N/T this week. We have a family wedding this weekend, so if all goes well, I will tell them then.
Speaking of the N/T, it is Wednesday. I have to force myself not to think about it too much because, when I do, I start to get more and more nervous. :-p Please send P&PT that all is well - I could use all the help I can get.
My ankles have started swelling occasionally already - ugh. I think I've been eating too much salt/salty food. I've been craving that much more than sweets. I'll ask my dr. about it Wed (I have my OB visit right after the N/T scan).
Hi ladies, I know how hard it is when you are around your milestone from your previous m/c. It's an almost unbearable anxiety. I just finally went through both milestones and saw my baby at 9wks on the ultrasound when at that point in my previous pregnancies development had stopped. It has given me a lot of peace.I have been feeling pretty nauseous off an on and my stamina and appetite are changing. I'm hungry easily and thirsty all of the time and have to quench those needs right away or I feel sick. My bbs started to get sore again, too. I think they are growing more b/c people are noticing. How is everyone else feeling?
Megan -- I really hope you are getting some good news right about now...I don't know what time zone you are in, but I'm sending positive thoughts anyway!
Jen -- I hope you get good news about your blood draw, too!
Candace, I know it's nerve wracking but try and hang in there! Good luck at your ultrasound. I'll be having one on Monday. I'm so scared! I didn't want one at 6 weeks but my OB insists it will be fine.
Sorry I've already forgotten what everyone else said. Pregnancy brain! I can say that and know you'all understand. DH is like uhhh what? hehe.
I've had a little spotting today. It started out very light pink and is now brown. Just like on Saturday...I've decided I'm giving it all up to God. I'll let him do the worrying. I can't do anything if I'm going to miscarry so there's no sence in over analyzing everything.
Today was a good day. I didn't have extreme exhaustion at the end of the day. No nausea either. I'm sure it's the rush of the new job that's keeping me awake tonight!
