Hi all! I'm not as much of a nervous wreck today as I thought I would be...I think it helped that I actually woke up with sore bbs this am! First time I've started the day out with them...so it's nice to have a symptom! I think that's helping, of course it's only 10:30 am. My 1st U/S is in just over 24-hours and I'm more nervous about that. A 6 wk us just scares me ... you all know the 'what if' factor is killing me!

I guess my other symptom must be a bit of moodiness...DH kept telling me all day that the pg hormones were at work! Then he said 'guess you're going to use that excuse for a while.' Well, now I am! mmmwwwwwaaaaahahahahahaha

Yusra I'm still very excited for you

Megan you too!

Okay I too can't think of anythine else. Good luck to our ladies who have u/s and apts today!

Hi girls,
I'm doing well. Belly pooching, nausea and major food aversions which make my previous hobby of eating not so fun anymore. I also have huge green veins on my hips and travelling down my stomach toward my abdomen. Crazy! We're telling my extended family next week at 11 wks. Yay! Today I have an "intake" appt at Kaiser which is also my first non-RE appt so I'm a little nervous. I don't know if they are going to do an u/s or not. My dh just got back from work in India (he was gone for 2 wks) and he slept with his hand on my belly--so cute. It was the first time EVER that I have let him because normally I hate my stomach but it is starting to feel hard and really cool.
Natalie--I have had some anxious days, too, and feel like I need to get up and about more. I started taking water aerobics and that has helped my energy level a lot.
Yusra-what is going on with the spotting? I think you are doing great by staying relaxed and giving into the journey. I am sending you a big hug for all of the anxiety you must have had about it.

I wish I knew what was going on with spot! I am still spotting brown. Today when I wiped there was some red mixed in and then it was back to brown. It's really confusing me. When I saw the little bit of red earlier I was like ok this is it I'm going to miscarry. Then it stopped...It's so confusing! I'm so scared to go into my ultrasound on Monday and find out I'm not pregnant. I feel pregnant. But, we all know how our minds play tricks on us.

The good thing is my new job is keeping me pretty busy so I don't have much time to think about it.

Candace, YAY for the bean and heartbeat!

I have a blinkie I want to post for us that I saw on the FEB EC that says "Sisterhood of the beans"

Yusra, I'm sorry that stupid spot won't leave you alone. I know how you feel about being scared about the u/s - I waver between wanting it to get here faster and wanting it not come at all. I just keep thinking about what happened last time.

Alice, I haven't heard about the green vein side effect! That sounds lovely! And so sweet for DH to sleep touching your belly. I haven't let DH touch my belly for months - hopefully soon it will be big for a good reason!

Hope all the m/s girls are feeling OK.

Candace, so excited for you and the heartbeat!!!!

Hi girls,
Got to see the little one again today at my first official OB visit. I actually saw its legs moving! I am measuring a few days off of 10wks but close enough. Yep, the green veins are sexy. It seems like in the evening they are more pronounced. There is definitley some food aversion/morning sickness that has kicked up a notch. Everything I eat makes me feel nauseous half way through eating it and I've been going number 2 a lot. FUUUUUUUUUNNNNNNN.
Yusra--hang in there. I know the spotting is scary. We're all sending lots of good vibes to your little one.
love,
alice

Good morning! Alice I'm so glad you got to see your little wiggle worm! My next u/s is at 8 wks, the RE said I won't see arms and legs yet, but will see features begin to form. I can't wait to see my little grain of rice develop!

Yusra sorry spot is still giving you a scare. Your hcg was good and strong, I do hope that's some consolation to you.

Yusra and Megan, as you know I was scared to death of that u/s yesterday...I'm sending you both calming vibes. You will get to see your little beans.

Good morning ladies.

I hope everyone is feeling sick this morning!

I know I am. Hello nausea! It's a welcome symptom. It's making me feel like I'm actually pregnant. I think I started getting it around 6 weeks with Ameerah. It looks like this one is starting to make mommy sick a little early.

So far no spotting today! Yay!

Candace, I have no idea what to suggest to you. My DH wants to be as far away as possible when it involves anything pregnancy. He's afraid of getting attached again. He won't feel better until the viability point of 24 weeks.

I'm off to work! Have a wonderful day.

Candace, I got my dh a book on being a dad-to-be and he loved being able to read about what was going on. I think it helps him feel engaged.
U/s are scary. Everytime I have this moment of fear. They do seem to be getting easier and my confidence increases. I think from now on I will get to hear the heartbeat starting in 2 weeks at my next ob appt. Yay! We can do this girls!
Yusra how are you doing?
