I'm back and I got to see the actual RE this time, which was a nice change! The ARNP was on vacation...so I lucked out because I really like the RE! He immediately was able to see the 'nice fetal growth' area ... then spotted my tiny grain of rice! It was just flickering away - which he said was the 'nice strong' heartbeat! Woo Hoo!! I started grinning and crying when he said that.

Candace,
Congratulations on seeing your baby's hb! That is so awesome. I wouldn't worry about the baby measuring a bit small. That's like only 3 days difference, and like you said, you could have easily o'd a few days earlier. I know it's hard for us PAL ladies, but try not to worry about it, and enjoy knowing that you saw the heartbeat.
Best wishes!!!
Lisa
Yaaay Candace that's wonderful news!
Cadance-
yeah for a heartbeat!!!! :)
And please try not to worry about the measurment! My little man has meaured -2 days to 4 days ahead all within the SAME u/s!! My RE told me that as long as its within the week and the heartbeat look healthy then all is well :)

YAY Candace on the heartbeat.
Yay Candace,
I am so thrilled that you got to see your little grain of rice with a heartbeat!! That is wonderful news, and like the other girls said, don't worry about a couple of days difference.
Candace, I am so happy for you! That is so exciting! You saw your baby's heart beating!! I don't know much about this myself yet, but I do know that FF isn't totally accurate, so I wouldn't worry at all about measuring off by just a couple of days. The important thing is that you SAW THE HEARTBEAT!!!
Huge hugs - wish I could give you a real one!

Hey Candace!
Congrats on seeing the hb. Isn't medical science a wonderful thing! I saw my little bean for the fist time yesterday and I know it made me feel soooo much better just seeing that tiny heart beating.
