Nope, no big weekend plans here. I was going to go to the pool if it's not raining, but it looks like it may rain here all weekend (not complaining about that though, we desparately need it). DH is supposed to play in a golf tournament Sat and Sun, though, so I guess I should hope that it doesn't.
Alice and Candace, very jealous of the sickness! But I'm sorry you didn't feel well. I have been really really tired since Wednesday - hopefully that's a symptom!
Candace, how's the SUV? Do you love it?
Hope everyone has a great weekend! I will be trying not to lose my mind before Monday. I hope this stops at some point . . .
Candace, I have the samething happen to me. Total prego normal!
I've reached the point in pregnancy where I'm annoying my DH. I'm too sick to do anything and all I want to do is sleep. He's use to his perfect little house wife that does everything for him. He told me I had to fight the fatigue. I told him you can't win againts the computer lol.
Hope everyone has a good weekend. I'm sure mine will be spent in bed. woohoo.
Jo - Thanks for sharing how things went with your stepkids. When we are ready to share, I think we'll have DH tell them alone in case their reactions aren't what I would hope for. That way, my feelings won't get hurt. I'm not worried about Caroline (SD), cuz I know she'll be excited and would want to help plan and pick things out. Have a safe trip to China :)
Candace - I'm sorry that you are having migraines. I hope they go away soon.
Alice - I'm glad someone can understand my weepy feelings. Lately I've been having very minor spotting, so that's what I've been crying about. As far as your morning sickness goes, you may have tried this already , but ginger ale always helped me with my last pregnancy.
I hope everyone has a nice weekend. We are flying out to Seattle on Monday. Take care!
Lisa--thanks for the ginger ale suggestion. My dh actually thought of it on our way to my mom's the other day when I was really carsick. Now he just sort of has them stashed for when I look green and before I know it I've got a glass of ginger ale with ice. I think he feels like he is really helping when he does that--which he is. x alice
Awwww. That is so sweet of your husband to do that for you. If he's doing those kinds of things for you, I'm sure he'll change tons of dirty diapers when baby comes :)
Natalie and Candace it sounds like my appetite is doing the same thing as yours-- hungry then nauseous so I slow down the eating and then starving and then nauseous. It never ends! I, too, have become a slow eater. Now more than ever cuz I threw up my bfast the other morning the second I stopped chewing. I took an 11wk picture yesterday, too, Natalie!! I will post mine on for 12 wks on Thursday, though. Hope everyone has a good Saturday night!
Alice and Natalie I cant wait to see your12 week pictures! I hope everyone's tummy's settle a bit...
The appetite thing happened to me only once -- like every other symptom I've had, none are consistent. I just wish one symptom would be consistent to give me some peace of mind! I've been
Candace From week 8 to 9 my symptoms were really inconsistent and I freaked out. My nausea changed a lot. It was, like, literally waking up and having not a trace of nausea. Pretty soon I had convinced myself that my bbs didn't hurt..the brain can play mean tricks on us. The symptoms slowly came back and by week 9 they came back and have been more consistent. It's hard but try to relax and "zoom out" as I call it so you can really tell when things are coming and going. It helped me a lot. x alice
