N/T screening blood test update

I just got a call from the genetic counselor with my blood test results from my N/T screening last week, and she said those, combined with the u/s, make my risk closer to that of a 20-year-old than a 40-year-old! :-D

The risk of Downs is 1:1032 (1:65 is normal for my age) and the risk for the trisomies is 1:2361 (1:119 is normal).

I am so relieved, again. I know this is no guarantee, but I feel much better knowing things are going well so far! :-)

Congrats Kitty. You must feel so much better. Yeah for the results of a 20-year-old!

Congrats! That is great! You should be able to tell people you are at least 5 years younger than you are now. ; )

I'm so glad

Congratulations Kitty! That is wonderful news, and getting compared to a 20 year old is almost always a good thing :)

Take care,
