When I found out I was pg with Mikey, I could "sense" the baby right away. I knew for sure that I was having a girl, (ok, I was wrong, but I still had the feeling!). With the two mc's and this one, I don't sense a baby. I feel pg, lots of symptoms and my belly is growing, but I'm not sensing a bean, kwim?

I think its totally normal, especially after a loss. I had a lot of trouble getting attached to this little one early in the pg. For me it got easier after we found out the sex of the baby, it made it more real. But everyone is different! Just give yourself time :-)

It's definitely normal after m/c and I think it's even kind of normal when it's your 2nd.

wow Tara, that's how I feel with my 3 yr old Maddy....the same way.....was it easy...I know the adjustment is so difficult....I'm hoping we all adjust and I know we will after the baby arrives...but it's only been the 3 of us and it's been great....Maddy's my life and I give her 100% of me ....I hope it'll be smooth.

Rachel,

I'm so sorry you are feeling this way, and like lots of the pp's have said, it unfortunately seems to be our PAL brains trying to protect us from hurting.
