Are you guys going to find out the gender? I think me and my dh are going to wait and find out. That's the verdict so far. We keep going back and forth and think it would be just deliciously exciting to wait.

Lol you are too cute. My husband and I both agree that we HAVE to know. We want one name picked out, room done, clothes picked. I guess we are both nosey and a little bit of planners. But I wish you ALLLLLLLLLLLLll the luck in the world when it comes to waiting! You are way stronger than I.

We didn't find out with Mikey and I went the whole pg thinking that I was having a girl, just from intuition. On the delivery table a nurse said "it's a boy!" and for half a second, I was disappointed. I don't want to be disappointed again so we are finding out about this one!!! I should have an u/s in the next month,so we will

Hi

We are going back and forth right now. Well, OK, I am. DH is all for waiting, but I am saying I get to make the decision, since, hey its my body going through all this! What do you guys think the advantages/disadvantages are?

Hello Alice,

We wanted to find out with Ireland, but she wasn't cooperating and we didn't find out until the day she was born. I'll have to say it was a nice surprise!

We do want to find out with this one, but we will just have to see if the baby cooperates this time.

I am posting a reply to myself- duh- but I wanted to share why I feel intrigued by waiting, and this only happened yesterday. Being a teacher who just finished a summer term, I suddenly have all the time in the world (OK, plenty of things I should/could be doing) so I was looking at nursery furniture and linens online, and was more attracted to the gender nuetral products anyway. I also was worried that we would end up spending a small fortune on clothes for the baby because if we don't find out, we can expect yellow and green onesies for the shower and thats about it, right? Well, I was at a family event and all the younger children had on adorable outfits. I complimented each child or parent on the outfit and they ALL said that my MIL had bought them. As we will be having the first grandchild, I think it may be all set with clothes just from Grandma!

Let's hear all the opinions on finding out/not finding out!

Lol My husband and I HAVE to find out. First off like I posted earlier, that is just the way we are, no questions asked we want to know. And I guess the big thing for me is planning. I want to have ONE name settled on and picked out. I want the room done the way I want ( I too love the neutral stuff also but if I want light accents of blue or purple, I can toss them in). I like to buy my own baby clothes and I want to know what else I can buy besides just green and yellow. I would not trust my mother in law to pick out anything because well....you should just see the gifts she sends me. And my mom and dad, make good money but like us are in the process of buying a house...soooo no depending on them there. I'm sure it is a nice little gift when you give birth and the doc says "It's A..." But I will still have that same feeling, just 20 weeks before the people who are waiting lol ( at least that is how I see it). Good luck to all of you, the waiters and non-waiters!
